We had a lovely stay in Victoria and Ian’s barn. The space itself is beautiful - the pictures don’t do it justice! Good sized bedrooms, an open and light-filled living space and a well-stocked kitchen. The surroundings are stunning, lots of beautiful walks and friendly pubs serving good food in the vicinity. Thank you!

The property is beautiful and stylish, nestled in nature with green fields perfect for a walk or run. Louise, the host, was always available with helpful tips and suggestions. I’d recommend it if you’re looking to explore the surroundings and escape the city.

We were celebrating a birthday with a group of friends over the weekend and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. The house is huge and charming - even with 14 of us, there was always space for a quiet moment alone. Interesting facts about the house and its history were everywhere, and made the place feel really special. The kitchen was well equipped and cooking for such a number of people wasn’t a problem. There were also plenty of bathrooms. The views from the bedrooms over the rolling countryside were beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather, and relaxing afternoons spent on the lawn in the sunshine, followed by evenings around the fire in the drawing room were fantastic. The host, Hugo, was very friendly and informative and always on hand to help with whatever we needed. Having the nearest train station just down the hill made logistics easy. All the guests had a wonderful time, and we would definitely stay again! Thanks again Hugo for a memorable weekend!

Stayed for a couple of nights with my one year old son to visit some friends in the local area. The location was beautiful and my son loved seeing lambs and horses so close. The instructions were clear making it easy to find. Kathryn was extremely helpful and friendly and provided a travel cot for us making my life a lot easier! The Piggery was very clean and well stocked with essentials. The homemade marmalade was delicious! We would definitely stay here again. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and an easy drive to lots of local attractions. Thanks for having us!
