Annemarie and Chris’ place was so beautiful, truly heavenly. The kayaks were a great adventure for our girls! The artistic details and decor were incredible. Coffee was 🙌🏻. Will be back.

Hapuku Retreat

We loved the peaceful area, absolutely breathtaking views, outdoor tub and unreal sunrises from the cabin. We loved unplugging, quick trips to check the surf and the slow comfort of the space. Fantails came to visit daily and the stargazing was awesome. Truly a special space and we hope to return someday!

Tiny Hideaway with the most AMAZING view!!

TomRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sue’s place is absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and communicative before and met us when we arrived to explain everything and let us in, it would have been fine had she not but it was a lovely touch. I was working remotely from the tiny house and the WiFi was extremely fast. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more. The sunset from our vantage point on the hill was beautiful.

House on the Hill Olives country stay studio

MeganRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most incredible stay at House on the Hill with Liz and Phillip. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome and thoughtful touches, including fresh feijoas from the garden and a delicious feijoa and ginger loaf waiting for us. Breakfasts were a real highlight, with yoghurt and compote, freshly squeezed orange juice and muesli. The hospitality was above and beyond anything we have ever experienced. Liz is a true professional hostess who makes you feel completely at home. Just before we left, we were treated to freshly baked scones which sent us on our way with full bellies and fond memories. If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely be staying again. Thank you both for such a special experience.

Luxurious accommodation at Tahunanui Beach

IanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful place. Moments from the beach where there were people swimming and SUPing all morning. We went in twice for an invigorating morning swim. Lovely walk loop on the beach too. The space is excellent, quiet and comfortable and very cool arty decor and a fabulous view. Driving in and out can be tricky due to traffic but a minor con in a sea of pro’s. Loved it. Raglan Roasts nearby do a cracking coffee too.

Epic view Whatamango Bay waterfront cottage

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Absolutely perfect property and location. Extremely well presented and very peaceful. Megan is an excellent host, very helpful and kind. Megan let us borrow her kayaks & helped us with them. She also brought baked treats for us to try. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Netherwood Cottage

KimberleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Exceptional! It's hard to do justice to such a beautifully renovated cottage set in one of the most outstanding locations for natural beauty. Truly a slice of heaven! This was further enhanced by the 'above and beyond' hospitality of Alexia and Justin, who ensured we were comfortable and right at home. With the colder weather just starting, we arrived to a lovely fire that warmed the house. Next day, my husband and daughter got to milk a cow, and we then went on a very informative tour of the farm. Alexia was a 'wealth of information'. The rest of our stay was spent privately exploring the river nearby, relaxing on the lovely verandah with gorgeous views, and enjoying games by the fire. The next day, Alexia even graciously allowed us extra time to vacate as they weren't expecting new guests. We were very blessed and left knowing that we will definitely be returning. I also loved my chats with Alexia!
