Having some breakfast items, a Nespresso machine and locally handmade soap were very thoughtful touches. My only complaint was that the people in the above flat walked rather heavily/noisily. But we had such a great time they didn’t keep us up.”
Kiwi Surf and Stay is located right at Kaikoura’s surf breaks on Kiwa Road. We offer accommodation for up to 2 guests in our small private suite that is attached to our home. Our Surf and stay is epic for single travellers or couples wanting to learn to surf, experienced surfers wanting to stay right on the surf breaks, or even if you just love the beach and amazing mountain and bush views! We also have a skate ramp! And free use of skateboards. Plus a surf school and surf hire available.
What guests are saying:“This is our second time staying here, so obviously we love it! The room isn’t large , but it is perfectly appointed , very chic, new and has everything you could need. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed with really nice linens. Cezanne and Dave are perfect hosts as are their 3 kids and extremely entertaining French bulldog and chihuahua. If you’re a surfer or want to learn to surf ( Dave also has surf school) , this is the place to be. The house is right at the best surf breaks and an easy 10 minute drive into town. We will definitely stay here again.”
