Anne's Fairytale Cottage feels very homey, it is well decorated with personable items, it's cozy, has a well equipped kitchen, with laundry, and had everything we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal. Anne was super helpful on arrival, and responded really quick in case of the occasional question. Most of all, Anne was really friendly, it was nice to meet her.

River Road Retreat was a delight to stay at, and Peter and Rebecca lovely hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by fields, and with stunning views to the hills in the distance. We loved the welcome bottle of wine and yummy nibbles, as well as the delicious breakfast served every morning. The air is fresh and clean, the water absolutely pure, and after three days we’ve returned home refreshed and reenergised. Wonderful!! Big thanks from us!!!

We felt very much at home in the Blue Cottage - loved the wood interior and it was a very comfortable stay. Would certainly be keen to stay again.

Tash's air bnb was everything it said it was, but once you get there, it's a slice of paradise you don't want to leave. You're close to Picton (5 min drive), but feel completely away from the business of life to re-set and recharge. The beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, couch and fire were fabulous even in winter. Definitely love to come back.

Great cottage for a family of 4. Warm and cosy. Verry cute decor and everything that was needed was there! Portacot was perfect for our 1 year old. He loved all the cars as well.

Location was excellent so entertaining watching the boats come and go. Bedrooms were cozy and very comfortable beds. Graeme and Raylene were so friendly and helpful :)

Kate gave very clear instructions so we were able to arrive safely and were able to find the place easily as we had a long drive and arrived quite late. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming despite our late arrival the night before. Additional plus were the awesome welcome given to us by their pet dogs, Chloe and Amber!

This is a very special place, I wish I could have stayed longer. The house is incredibly cosy and atmospheric, and we felt so spoilt with the great breakfast. This is a true getaway whilst everything you'd like to do and see in the region is close by. Highly recommended!

Great location! And a very comfortable place - with a spectacular morning sunrise view! A little bit of a walk to reach the beach and coffee shops - but the quiet location was worth it!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jenny's cottage. From the moment we pulled into the drive, we knew we'd found a great spot to 'hang our hats' for a few days. The setting is just lovely, with the beautiful flower garden immediately adjacent to the cottage as well as the great farm and mountain views, especially from the living room and outdoor patio. Jenny and her husband Tony were top hosts. We enjoyed several wine tastings, morning jogs on the nearby bike path, and generally kicking back in this very comfortable home.

We stayed 3 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Vivian and Ken were excellent hosts. We were provided with lots of tips for grocery store, restaurants and places to hike. Ken took us on a night time adventure to see glow worms on the property! The pet deer, Nina, has a fenced area near the cottage. We enjoyed feeding Nina treats provided by Ken. We found the local restaurants to be excellent and enjoyed shopping at the Old Factory Connings Food (grocery) and The Junction (cheese shop). The cottage was very comfortable and open with a beautiful, private surrounding garden. What a wonderful location to stay near Abel Tasman National Park.

We had a lovely long weekend staying at this cottage outside Mapua. The views were incredible out every window, we loved the woodstove in the evening, the bed was comfortable and it was so peaceful! It was a quick 5 minute drive to great coffee in Mapua (recommend the Java Hut!) and we explored the Abel Tasman, the Taste Trail and even used the cottage’s kayaks on the inlet. A great stay!

If I could rate more than 5 stars I certainly would. Vanessa was super accommodating and very communicative and massively helpful! She helped with an early check in to coordinate with our flight arrival time, went out of her way to find extra indoor kids board games and activities due to the unfortunate weather, was so lovely and helpful in every way imagineable. Highly recommend and will definitely be back there next time we stay in Nelson. Thank you Vanessa.!

Walking distance to the lively and fun Mapua Wharf area and a lovely little cottage with character and everything you need. Was a pertfect rest spot after doing the Abel Tasman walk
