Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. If you’re looking for peace, solitude, beauty & nature then look no further than Vincent’s wonderful home , the views from the pool are spectacular, and the Gite itself is simply perfect, everything is finished to an impeccably high standard , Vincent is the perfect host , offering help when needed , he made us feel totally at ease from the moment we arrived but, gave us absolute privacy , we will definitely return & have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place to others .

Excellent stay in Romestaing. We were able to fully enjoy all the family activities (swimming pool, darts, petanque, volleyball, board games). The place is very peaceful and allows a total disconnection from everyday life. The house is beautifully furnished, large and of quality. Thank you to Vital and Marthe for their hospitality and availability.

Very nice accommodation in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses are fragrant and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, the interior is fragrant, the bedding comfortable, the most comfortable cushions I have known in my entire life! This stay was pleasant, peaceful and allowed us to reconnect with nature. We enjoyed the countryside and visited the surroundings. There is a ✨ Ranch called Bel Air nearby which is amazing, a medieval town Pujols which is splendid and surely full of other wonders to discover in the surroundings. A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great time in this relaxing, soothing home. The house is very spacious, which is very comfortable and everyone can have independent and isolated rest areas both indoors and outdoors. This building is really worth knowing about. Nina and Axel are very organized and efficient in giving all the instructions and in an ultra-fast way. We recommend this stone house combining charm and character.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

We loved our week at Patricia's place. The house is just extraordinary, hard to be more quiet. It's even more spectacular than pictured, we don't realize the size and beauty of the space. Patricia and her husband were kind as rare to find today. I recommend it blindly and even hope to be able to return one day.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

It was above all expectations, beautiful apartment with all our needs met. From coffee to shower gel, aircon worked perfectly and communication went very smoothly and easily. Sabine & Jean were super friendly and helpful and flexible with check-in and check-out. Would recommend to everyone and we will definitely come back here.

This stay was everything an Airbnb should be and more! Her place was welcoming and so incredibly homey. The design of the apartment is also incredible, with such an attention to detail! The location is also perfect - a quick 20 minute walk to the center of the historic district but tucked away enough to get a full nights rest without any interruptions. Helen was also incredibly responsive and had such fabulous recommendations. Next time we find ourselves in Bordeaux, we know exactly where we’ll be staying!

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Great stay at Celine's! Her accommodation is great: swimming pool, darts, outdoor games, books…. The rooms were comfy. The space was very clean! Céline was very responsive and welcoming. I recommend it and will be back.

Had a great time at this place! Everything was perfectly in line with the listing, clean, quiet and very pleasant. The pool is a real plus, ideal for relaxing after a day or simply enjoying the sun in peace. The place is perfect for resting, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great time at Sophie and Vincent's. Beautiful, spacious apartment and a quiet location but close to everything on foot!

Our stay at les peupliers was exactly what we had hoped for. The gite was exactly as described and the swimming pool was superb. We wanted to arrive a day earlier than we had booked and we were immediately offered a guest room in the family home which was perfect. Laurence and Mike are excellent hosts. They were friendly, helpful and provided lots of really useful information about the area. Thanks for the birthday card Laurence and the home made fig Jam!

JB's place was exactly as described: a very nicely arranged space in the countryside, absolutely perfect to deconnect and relax. There is some wildlife around to observe when taking any one of the walks in the area! We also enjoyed the restaurant recommendation right on the river: good food, and a lively atmosphere.
