Holiday rentals with a kayak in Marshall County

We have stayed at Matt’s place for several years and it is always exceptional. The home is large, clean, convenient drive to great restaurants, and fits our large crew very well. Matt and Tammy are kind, helpful, and are welcoming throughout our stay. We are already looking forward to next year!

This review is geared towards bass fishermen. We took 2 boats with 4 people and this property could very easily handle 3 boats and 6 people. We loved the fact it has so many bedrooms and bathroom to give you private. The drive way can easily accommodate (3) bass rigs, that was nice! The location is just minutes away from seibold landing which is very convenient. Overall, we loved the house and the power was great to work with. We are hoping to be perennial customers because the lake is a fantastic fishery. Thank you Mary!!

This is a beautiful place to stay. If you will follow the directions that Laura gives , you will have no problems finding the home. The boat house was nice and we enjoyed fishing . I’m sure we will be back and rent this place again.

The space was very peaceful and cozy! We wanted to get away and spend time with my father who is sick, and he loved it. We will definitely be back!

Having spent Christmas here, I can say it is just as good as home. Everything is clean and it one of the best stocked properties I have ever visited. Responsiveness was unsurpassed. Proactive with details, clear instructions, and very helpful! I will go back and I would encourage others to go too!

If you like fishing and hunting decor in a house, this is the one for you! Has a dock you could walk out to and throw a line! We didn’t catch anything, but it was peaceful out there! Had lots of available things to do in the house, pool table, board games, Xbox , canoeing or just sitting outside by the firepit! Very secluded in the area which was nice as well. Not a long drive to much of the lake and golf courses we played. If they had more courses to play nearby, we would definitely come back again!

We stayed for my son’s 14th birthday. He loves fishing so it was perfect. Cabin was great and we caught lots of fish. The weather unfortunately didn’t cooperate, but we made the best of it. Not much to eat near by which I assumed would be the case. It was very peaceful and quiet at night. We would stay again!

We had the best weekend at Clay's place! My family of 4 plus my MIL stayed comfortably, and the amenities were greatly enjoyed! From kayaking and playing on the lily pad to enjoying the views from the amazing deck, we thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay! Clay was super helpful and responsive and everything was exactly like it said it would be! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway, and we will definitely be back!

wonderful stay and delicious muffins for my wife's birthday. they were amazing. The over all stay was spectacular!!

Beautiful place to bring your family, my boys had fun and it was a nice place to relax for the grown ups.

Fabulous location! Kids had a great time fishing! Loved that the laundry facility was free to all guests. I didn't have to come home with tons of dirty laundry. I would suggest others bring paper plates and garbage bags for easier clean up bc there were two garbage bags provided. There is a dollar general close and a Walmart about 20 min away. The play facility was amazing for the kids. We definitely plan to come back in the future!

We stayed at Sweet Springs Retreat for 5 days while visiting with family at the State Park. Beaver Cabin was a cute, cozy little place to stay with our kids. We did a lot of ladder climbing up to the lofted beds, so we appreciated the sturdy, well-secured ladder! The home had all the basic amenities one might need for simple food prep and coffee, and it felt very safe and secure. We loved the lights at night and Kendall was always quick to respond to any questions we had.

Had a wonderful weekend! The cabin was beautiful and had amazing scenery. Would definitely recommend this place for a weekend get away!

Wonderful cabin, recently built, with plenty of room and lots of charm. The cabins are clean, well kept and maintained. The treasure is the property and all it offers. Especially when you include one of the most beautiful lakes is located just around the next bend. What impressed me the most was just how easy it was to spend time together with my family enjoying the boating or fishing or walking. I never had any trouble with having the limited cell service reception. Until it was time to leave. Quality time was what we needed and it delivered well. We could have easily spent more than a week
