Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Marshall County

My family and I had a great time staying at John’s place. All the necessities were available and had no issues. I would say pay attention to the maps of when you are there. Since there are lots of trees and hills in the area, the driveway sneaks up on you. There is an “available for lease “ sign right next to the driveway that helps a lot. Pictures of the house are exactly as posted. I would definitely stay there again.

Adorable lake house in great location. Home was very clean and nicely stocked with anything we needed for our stay. Spacious for our family of 7and quiet neighborhood. We loved walking down to the lake in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. Beds are firm and very comfy. There are extra blankets too. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, bath towels, and wash clothes. The large bathtub was so nice to relax in and the body jets in the shower were amazing! The kitchen is stocked with lots of dishes, pots, pans, dish washing liquid, trash bags, and all kinds of seasonings. The living room furniture was comfortable and included family games. You literally just need to bring yourself and your clothes as this place has everything you need. Also, Publix is only 12 mins away for groceries. We loved our stay and would most definitely stay here again.

The cabin is in a great location with privacy and easy access from the highway. It’s in a great location for fishing and is close to several boat ramps and a bait shop. I Would definitely recommend this place.

Place was perfect for what we needed. Had 5 fishing a tournament. Came up the week prior to practice and this was a great location, very well kept, plenty of boat parking, and the host was awesome. She even met us to make sure we got in well

We spent our anniversary at Smooth as Glass and left wondering if Julia is secretly an Airbnb fairy godmother. The home was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and that huge bathtub? Let’s just say it turned our bubble bath into a full-on spa date. Julia’s attention to detail made everything feel extra special, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast—still dreaming about it. We laughed, relaxed, soaked, and ate like royalty. It was the kind of getaway that makes you fall in love all over again. Already planning round two!

We enjoyed our stay so much! We decided to travel to Guntersville for my husband’s birthday/family trip and we had the best time. Not only is the house clean and spacious, but beautifully decorated! We felt at home. Theresa was an excellent host, quick to respond and very accommodating!! We look forward to our next stay here and hope to be back soon. We were close to all that Guntersville had to offer- downtown local shopping, boat slips, city harbor and more all within a short drive. Thank you Theresa!

It’s the most convenient place to stay! Walkable to many restaurants and downtown shops! It was clean and quiet!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We loved seeing the history of this family home! The little details and cute personal touches like the fridge magnets were so fun ❤️ We had to book last minute as we came to town to help friends after a house fire. Nicole was super responsive and made our trip a lot less stressful! Totally hassle free and easy booking and stay!

Thanks again. Everything was great. Location, convenience, and accessibility. Highly recommend for fisherman needing a place to stay. Having a covered parking place for the boat with power and lights was an added bonus.

This is a very unique cabin with an incredible view! The stairs are interestingly tall, but it was just me so I stayed downstairs. Would absolutely recommend and return for another stay!

The cabin was perfect for our needs! My husband, our baby, two dogs, and I all stayed here for a couple weeks, and it was great! We really enjoyed our stay! Classie was so nice and helpful! We would definitely stay there again or recommend it to our friends and family!

Heaven on Earth! My group of community college students had a magnificent time at Frog and Toad Manor. Almost all the rooms were way bigger in person than in the photos. There was plenty of space for all of us. We loved sipping coffee together on the huge porch in the mornings, listening to the birds. We had a nice BBQ and jumped in the lake. Even in April the water's pretty warm. I hope my group can rent this place again next year. We didn't get to paddleboard and look for gators yet :-) A word for future guests: if you stay here, please take note that this is not a hotel. This is someone's house and those folks live here part of the year. So you have to treat it as such. When you stay in a *home* it feels completely different than staying in a cheaply furnished property owned by foreign investors and managed by a third party. The furniture and decor is higher quality because the owners themselves live here. Be respectful of their stuff; you would want the same if it were your house.
