Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Martano

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! We voelden ons meteen thuis bij Nieves en haar familie en de lieve honden en kat. De villa is prachtig gelegen in een mooie omgeving. Het huis is heel mooi, schoon, sfeervol en van alles voorzien. De locatie is perfect om de omgeving te verkennen. Nieves is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en reageert zeer snel op vragen. Bedankt voor je gastvrijheid en het geweldige verblijf!

A comfy home with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. It has a huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Massimo was easy to communicate with and kind enough to swap mattresses so the firmest one was on the down stairs bed for us. There is a quite steep, winding and narrow staircase to get into the apartment and more to get to the second bedroom and also the rooftop terrace which adds to its charm but may not be suitable for the elderly and unfit. Its in a very quiet location only 10 minute walk from the station and only a few minutes to bars and restaurants.

Superhost - exactly what you expext from superhosts. We were with a 1,4 year baby. - they provided all equipment you expect for the child. Our baby got sick, helped with the hospital, gave all recommendations we needed, always reaponsive and very friendly. Villa was super for families, can’t dream about anything else.

Daniele's apartment was one of the best airbnb's we've stayed in. Check-in was simple to arrange. It was nice to actually meet Daniele on check-in; most Abnb hosts these days don't even bother. The apartment was clean, very spacious for two and extremely well-decorated and furnished. In a building on a small court (note that cars do park there) in the middle of the historic center, the location was perfect for exploring the sights on foot with many choices of restaurants within easy walking distance. Paid parking on the street just outside the walls of the historic district was a short walk to the apartment, simple to find and reasonably priced. Air conditioning was also good to have, although the stone construction generally kept the rooms cool. All in all, a perfect base to explore the historic center of Lecce. Highly recommended. We loved staying at Casa Della Controra! We were six friends from different parts of the world staying in Puglia together for few days. After we did the reservation we realized there was only one bathroom but actually it was not an issue for us as we are all good friends, very flexible, accommodating and considerate. The communication with Elena was superb as she was always responsive to any questions we had. Grazie Elena!

De prijs kwaliteit verhouding voor deze plek was zeer goed! Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig en het rook heerlijk toen we binnen kwamen (zo weet je dat het schoon is :)). Maar het leukste aan deze plek is Renata! Wat een lieve vrouw! Ondanks onze taalbarrière (ze spreekt een klein beetje Engels en ik spreek geen Italiaans) was ze ontzettend vriendelijk. Ze reageerde super snel, gaf tips en als we iets nodig hadden regelde ze het meteen. Wij zijn fan van Salento en Renata!! :)

Hemos tenido una extraordinaria experiencia en la casa de Iacopo, quien ha sido muy amable y nos recibio personalmente en su casa, Iacopo siempre contesto nuestros mensajes y nos aconsejo de la mejor manera para que nuestra estadia sea ideal. En cuanto al departamento, posee una excelente ubicacion, es muy comodo, limpio y tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar una excelente estadia en lecce, quedandote aqui todo te quedaea cerca! lo recomiendo ampliamente!

A wonderful four night stay in the historic centre of Lecce. The apartment/house was larger than expected. Perfect for families or friends travelling together. Giorgia was a great host, meeting us early at the apartment so we could store our cases. She provided drinks and breakfast food. All those little extras make for a special stay. I highly recommend a stay at Giorgia’s house.

Lucci d’Oriente superó nuestras expectativas. El departamento es amplio, alegremente decorado y está equipado con absolutamente todo: no falta nada. Desde cada ventana se ve el mar, como si estuvieras dentro de él. La terraza con acceso directo al mar es un verdadero privilegio. Subir desde allí hasta el departamento requiere algo de esfuerzo, pero vale totalmente la pena. Es ideal para una familia con hijos, muy cómodo y funcional. Santa Cesarea Terme es tranquila, con algunas opciones para comer liviano y disfrutar un helado. El estacionamiento al lado es gratuito si hay lugar, y muy accesible si se paga. Rita y Stefano fueron anfitriones excepcionales: atentos, amables y siempre disponibles. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa. ¡Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

Cada vez que viajas, tenes esa sensación de encontrarte con algo nuevo, si bien ser anfitrión merece tener ganas y tiempo, esta mujer y su pareja, nos han dejado hasta ganas de conocerlos mas, son un encanto de personas, respetuosas, confiables, y muy amables y gentiles, con gusto volveremos a verlos en su hermoso departamento. A beautiful apartment with unique 360 rooftop views in the truly glorious Gallipoli! The roof terraces are the star of the show and we enjoyed breakfasts and lunches on one, sunbathing on loungers and drinking morning coffees and sunset drinks on the top one - spectacular and incredibly peaceful! The master bedroom was very comfortable and the main bathroom was great, too. The kitchen was really well set-up. Close to everything you could want in Gallipoli! Marta and Tiziana were very responsive. If I had to flag one thing, it would be that because it isn't a self-check-in apartment, there is an extra charge for checking in after 8pm. Our arrival time was dictated by flights that changed after we had booked them, so this was out of our control. I appreciate that the apartment is run by a property business and you may need to pay staff to be available out of hours, but it's worth factoring this into your budget if you know you will arrive late. Still an exceptional experience!

Wie schon oft beschrieben, besitzt die Wohnung zwei wundervolle, bestens ausgestattete Terrassen, tlw. mit Meerblick welche wir ausgiebig genossen haben. Die Wohnung liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sauberen Stadtstrand, der Altstadt und vielen Bars und Restaurants. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und die Wohnung ist überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Lediglich der Weg vom Parkplatz in der Hitze mit einer großen Menge an Gepäck und die engen Treppen sind eventuell für ältere Menschen ein Problem. Marco ist extrem reaktionsschnell und hat uns viele gute Empfehlungen inkl. der Routen gegeben. Das hat unseren Urlaub noch schöner gemacht. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen und komme sehr gerne wieder. Wir haben uns immer gut betreut und wohl gefühlt.

Sehr sehr schönes Apartment mit allem, was man braucht, inklusive tollem Balkon. Die Lage ist super, alles ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen und wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.

Logement tout simplement magnifique, très spacieux et calme. La proximité avec le centre historique de Lecce est un plus, tout est accessible à pied. Enfin, Davide a été réactif et de bons conseils, je recommande vivement !

We arrived and departed with a „WOW“ on our lips. The place of Bea is so special und unique - it is obvious how much love and care is put into this place. It is good to relax and enjoy the fabulous pool! We would love to come back!

Ein wunderschönes Haus in phantastischer Lage. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal dort und werden sicher wieder kommen. Der Gastgeber Alberto ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Für alle die einen individuellen Urlaub suchen genau das richtige. Danke Alberto

Stefanias Haus Nicht an einer naturgeschützten Küste, umgeben von einem riesigen Garten mit wunderschönen Pflanzen, von die man von überall das Meer sieht. Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt ins Stefanias Haus und haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Für Menschen, die die Natur lieben, ist dieser Ort ein absolutes Paradies und Stefania ist eine Uneingeschränkt hervorragende Gastgeberin, die zu jederzeit alles tut, damit sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen. Da wir unseren Hund Anton dabei hatten, war der große Garten auch für ihn ein perfekter Ort. Von dem Gelände aus kann man wunderbare Spaziergänge über kleine Feldwege auch bis hinunter zum Meer machen. Die Küste in dieser Region ist atemberaubend schön mit vielen kleinen buchten und herrlichen Wandermöglichkeiten. Wir können Stefania und ihren paradiesischen Garten uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wonderful hosts very warm and friendly . Antonio and Claudio are a delight. Very comfortable house with magnificent gardens and great swimming pool. Any easy 20min drive to gorgeous Lecce and close by to lots of other parts of Salento. A magical oasis in which to relax between adventures! Handy restaurant next door at the Agritourismo.

Le plus bel endroit où nous avons résidé pendant notre séjour en Italie. Nos sommes tombés en amour avec Puglia et cet emplacement. Chaques matins nous avons fait des sorties de vélo ou de course pour ensuite profiter du soleil et de la piscine. Nos hôtes ont étés très réceptifs. Nous aurions pu rester une semaine de plus tellement il y avait à découvrir autour de la villa. Nous reviendrons! Merci.

Könnte ich 10 Sterne vergeben hätten Paolo als Gastgeber und das Haus auch diese verdient! Paolo ist schon bei der Vorbereitung der Reise proaktiv, immer super freundlich und macht große Lust auf den Aufenthalt. Auch während des Aufenthalts hat er sich immer erkundigt ob uns auch an nichts fehlt. Mr. Gino hat uns vor Ort begrüßt und immer nach dem Rechten gesehen. Das Haus, der unglaubliche Garten und der Pool waren noch schöner als auf den Bildern - und diese sind schon gropßartig. Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Salento und wollten viele Ausflüge machen ( Paolo hat super Tipps und Restaurant Empfehlungen! ). Aber da wird das Haus so schön fanden und uns nicht trennen konnten haben wir auf den ein oder anderen Ausflug verzichtet. Dieser Ort ist zu 100% eine Empfehlung.

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).
