Holiday rentals with a kayak in Mason County

This is the 3rd time our group has stayed at this home and again will be back. The view is stunning and lots of space for a large size group! I will say a weekend isn't enough because it's very hard to leave! Tiffany does her best to accommodate her guests. Home was clean hot tub was ready and we enjoyed our time fore sure. The only small issue we has was with a neighbor but I feel it was resoved. He thought we may have taken clams or oysters with a small blue bucket but when confronted I showed him that we only had a few pieces of driftwood and shells for my garden. Other then that small situation everything was fabulous! We definitely will be back!

It was the perfect place for 2 couples. We totally enjoyed the Sauna, spa, and outdoor seating areas. We had spent 2 days the The Ridge Motorsport complex tracking our high performance cars and Codi’s place provide the perfect place to relax after an action packed day. I wish we could have utilized more of the amenities. The only downside is Shelton is a sleepy town with not a lot of restaurant choices. We ate in most all our meals which was not a problem as we love cooking. We will definitely return.

What a magical stay we had visiting family and friends in the area. The cabin was perfect in almost every way! We have a summer of air b&bs booked this summer, this one will be very hard to beat!

Home with a beautiful view of the water and, if you use the provided kayaks to go a couple hundred yards north, a view of the snowcapped mountains in the park as well. We saw a lot of wildlife from the kayaks. Good for stargazing when it's clear. If it had rained, the couches by the giant windows overlooking the canal would have been the perfect spot to settle in with a book and watch the rain. A great base to explore the area and recharge after, and roomy and comfortable for four adults. Jay was quick to respond to any question.

Ostrich Nest was a great getaway! Very peaceful and quiet. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need (even a knife sharpener in the kitchen) which is great since you’re on an island. Would highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway on the water.

Absolutely Perfect Getaway! This beautiful waterfront home exceeded all expectations. The views are absolutely incredible, and the outdoor living space is both relaxing and family-friendly. The spacious yard was perfect for the kids to play, and the house itself was well-stocked with everything we needed. It truly is a gem in the Pacific Northwest-a must-stay! Both of our families had a fantastic time. The hosts were wonderful and communicated clearly throughout. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Had a great stay! Even though we were there in the middle of a heat wave, the bottom floor was lovely and cool. We had a lot of fun with the paddle boards and watching the tide come in and out! A note that the access to the water with the paddle boards was best accomplished with two people!

One of a kind experience! Our family visited with the in laws from out of town and had such an incredible time. The hosts were so helpful with all their great communication. Everyone was so impressed with the lot size and location. Waking up to the beautiful views was inspiring. This is an oyster lover's paradise! Just walk out to the backyard and they're everywhere. Roasting marshmellows and hanging out by the firepit was truly memorable. The kids really appreciated the game room with air hockey and video games. All the toys and books were a nice added touch. Thank you, Vy! We look forward to visiting again.

It is not often that a place far exceeds expectations, but this place was far and beyond what we thought we were getting. Pictures do not capture the beauty and comfort this place offers. We had great weather, and were able to enjoy the paddle boarding, kayaks, float tubes, fishing, and swimming. It truly is “Lake Life” meets Puget Sound. The staff go out of their way to make sure guests are not just getting what they paid for, but are truly enjoying themselves and the resort. Very reasonable mooring fee and if you’re paying attention to tides the boat launch is more than adequate. If you’re not enjoying your stay, I’d say it’s a “you” problem. The Admiral Cottage has a waterside bedroom and a deck that will make you wish you had booked another night. Thanks to all who made our stay truly relaxing and entertaining.

I cannot say enough about this place. The host was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. The people in the community are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. If you are looking for a relaxing get away, this is it.

Great overall stay, definitely recommend for people looking to have a peaceful getaway. The host was fantastic and very organized. Hope to plan another trip here in the future!

Tim and Lorrie were Amazing!! From the moment we arrived we found home made cookies and fresh flowers. This place was beautiful. Everything about it. It was a perfect get away from the noise, even our kids said it was a 10/10. The photos don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back again.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings and very cozy and comfortable house and furnishings. Really nice to have a hot tub right there with a view! Great for a big family or small group. Kitchen was very well supplied. Lots to do right around the property. Hosts had everything very organized and easy to follow. Would 100% stay again!

We had such an amazing and lazy weekend. The view of the water was our TV the entire time. Sea creatures, eagles, and the never ending waves. The house was spotless and so comfortable. Thank you again for sharing your place.

This home was fabulous! The photos don't do the view justice! The home was clean and cozy and she had everything we needed, including a small cooler for day adventures, which was a great touch! We were so appreciative of such a responsive host - Andrea went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay! We were sad to leave and next time hope to stay a full week! Paradise!!

We had a wonderful and peaceful vacation weekend in Allyn! Fang’s home was easy to get to and settle into. We loved watching the water and tides, and it was easy to walk to restaurant, coffee shops and more. We spent most of our days on day trips in the region (Staircase Ridge & Hama Hama Oysters, and the Tacoma Zoo). This was the perfect place to recharge. We also loved the kayaks and hot tub, and generally cozy space. Fang was proactive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay as well.

It’s a must if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway! Our family really enjoyed the beautiful views, open windows, spacious patio, kayaks and wildlife. The property was very clean, with clear and detailed instructions. Definitely returning for a longer stay!

My kids and I had a lovely time on Tee Lake! We kayaked and swam to our hearts' content. The patio down by the lake was perfect for hanging out and playing board games after spending time on the water. Very comfortable furniture, beds, and pretty much everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The living room is very comfortable, with a lovely view of the lake. The loft bedroom with the king bed was beautiful. The smaller bedroom downstairs was functional, not the most attractive, but comfortable. The kitchen is very functional, the cookware was a bit tired, but worked well for what we needed. Plenty of fresh towels. The neighbors we met around the lake were all very friendly and welcoming. Really nice atmosphere for families. We tried our hand at fishing with the pole provided, which was fun for my son, even though we didn't catch anything. We hope to return again!

My partner and I stayed at Daniel’s place for the weekend, and it was truly magical. Nestled in the woods, the cabin is warm, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. We loved starting our mornings with coffee and a short walk to the nearby beach—just a three-minute stroll away. The whole area felt like a perfect escape from the world. We spent our days biking, paddleboarding, and kayaking through the beautiful surroundings. It was a special experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing this place, Daniel!

The cabin is great. We had peace and the forest and the campfire and family. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Booked this as a mother's day get-away for my wife, and she enjoyed her time here greatly. Will definitely keep in mind for the future as my wife likes to take a weekend for herself from time-to-time, and this has been her favorite place to do so so far
