Off street parking for 2 vehicles, and a gravel area for small boat trailers. This home is one half of a duplex, but has private patio area with a 6 person hot tub

Update: In September 2022 we were affected by Hurricane Ian. We had just over 5 feet of flooding in our treasured cottage. We have worked tirelessly to put everything back together. All new tile, walls, electric, lighting, furniture, and we even improved the bathroom! Spacious tropical home with water view from our back yard lanai. Boat Dock with Cleaning Fish Station, BBQ beautiful sunsets with fish jumping in our canal. New large kitchen and one block from art galleries, restaurants and bars.

So much love is put into this home you will see and feel it. Can sleep up to 10. 50’ of dock to Tie up multiple boats. This close to town home is in a quiet neighborhood with Gulf access. You can drink your coffee and mimosas overlooking the tranquil water. Don’t want to cook breakfast? You can walk to town in 10 min or ride one of the bikes to the Perfect Cup or have lunch at another Matlacha restaurant. Your family will enjoy fishing off the dock, corn hole, board games, bbq, and Pac-Man.

Kick-back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Located one block away from historical Matlacha downtown and it’s pastel-colored shops and restaurants. Three restaurants, each with its own unique flavor, located within one block of the property. Enjoy a great coffee bar and breakfast /lunch at the Perfect Cup. Spend time relaxing in our fully screened in lanai which features ample seating, smart TV, and flattop grill. We also have 2 single and 1 double kayaks for you to explore the magical waters. You love the water... then this is your place to be! The 2-story villa with pool and Gulf access has been completly renovated in 2024! Start kayaking or by boat exploring the beautiful beaches and Mangroves right from the dock, direct access (Lift is not available right now but small boats can be tied at the dock). Catch your fish and enjoy it for dinner....watch Dolphins pass by.... The private pool gives a nice refreshment after a day out and about (not heated)

What a wonderful place to stay. Fell in love with Matlache and surrounding islands. Much more beautiful and peaceful than Cape Coral or Fort Myers. The place was immaculate at check-in and was very well equipped. You name it, this house had it. Dock was great and easily accepted my 22’ boat with plenty of room to spare. Very wide canal, easy to turn a boat around. Caught lots of fish right off the dock although they were mostly Catfish. Swimspa was a plus and refreshing after a day of boating/fishing. I have been renting in FL for close to 20 years and this was by far the nicest. Can’t say enough about the view. We couldn’t use the “crows nest” as it was occupied by a huge nest and a mating pair of Osprey. Not a problem as they more than made up for it by providing continuous entertainment. Made a few videos of their antics. We all loved them. Bernd/manager were very responsive. Only had one issue with smoke alarms. Batteries changed within hours, no more problems.

Adorable little bungalow for two! We enjoyed taking the kayak out- especially during low tide and hanging out by the sand bars/ islands! Blue Dog was also a favorite by the end of the week! Great food and atmosphere!

Kimberly and Kevin’s place was easily the cleanest and one of the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Spotless from top to bottom. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The house was super updated, comfy, and had everything we needed. Kimberly and Kevin were awesome and easy to communicate with. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone!

We loved our stay at Matlacha. The place was very quiet and peaceful. It is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your pup along. A great breakfast restaurant is less than five minutes walk and a couple of local stores are walking distance as well. Chatted with the hosts for a bit, they did suggest a few places to visit. Free kayaks available to use are a nice touch. My wife and I took one of them around the whole island. The area has quite a few things to do. There are boat rentals, dolphin cruises and sunset cruises available to book. Fort Myers Beach is about 40 minutes drive. We found a dog friendly beach and went to see the sunset. Overall we had a great time and very relaxing weekend. Will definitely rent again if coming to the area.

The perfect house for our relaxing vaca! The pool was our favorite part… the sun deck it has was perfect for our little one! Mike was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The surroundings are beautiful, sunsets on the canal are a must! I highly recommend Mike & all his house has to offer!! We will definitely be back!

We love Redfish. Recent hurricanes have tested the Matlacha community. Reconstruction & cleanup continues. Fisherman’s Paradise is an oasis within the area. Redfish is perfect for our needs & we find Martina & team very friendly and responsive.
