We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

Very quiet place with amazing views. We really enjoyed our time there. The house is well equipped and has everything your heart desires. In the surrounding villages are very beautiful beaches, which were hardly visited, as well as small tavernas with super tasty and cheap food. We felt very comfortable.

The house itself is modern, stylish and equipped with everything you could wish for. The spacious pool and the breathtaking view of the Cretan landscape all the way to the sea inspired us every day. But what really makes this place special is the host. From the first moment, he was incredibly warm, helpful and attentive - after a very short time, it felt as if we had found a friend on site. Whether tips for excursions, restaurant recommendations or just a nice conversation - he was always there for us and made our stay something very special. DejaView is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy and feel good. We will definitely be back.

This very clean and ultra-modern holiday home exceeded all our expectations! Such a warm personal welcome from the owners. A well-stocked refrigerator on arrival, as well as fruit, coffee and refreshments. Beautiful large private swimming pool. Fantastic luxurious enjoyment in all comfort with comfortable loungers and bathrobes/slippers. It was perfect for us, definitely recommend it and will undoubtedly come back soon!

What an amazing house. Absolutely beautiful interiors - as others have said it feels like a five star spa hotel. Amazing amenities, great kitchen, huge living room with stunning views, lovely balconies, super comfy beds, great showers…everything has been done to the highest standards. It’s just luxury! Situated a short walk from the fab restaurants and lovely beach in Sitia. Super easy to find- Marios’ instructions took us direct to the door. Parking directly outside the villa. Marios was an excellent host - always quick to respond and check in / out were seamless. Highly recommended. We can’t wait to return! Thanks Marios!

Elpida, a dream house, definitely recommended. Not only the location and the view are sensational, but also the house itself. We (married couple 63/61) were able to enjoy Angelika's unobtrusive and warm hospitality in May 2025 and had a relaxing week in or above the beautiful village of Mochlos. We have nothing to complain about, on the contrary - we have rarely found such a great accommodation. Perfect furnishings and very well-equipped kitchen, always a shady spot and very pleasant insect protection. The steep ascent to the mountain is no problem after the first exercise. The scent of the plants is simply wonderful. We loved our stay! The apartment is located just on top of the Taverna and about 15 meters from the beach. Within 5 minutes walk there is also a yoga location offering amazing drop in classes. From the moment we drove into the town we were warmly greeted by the lambros family. We spent the next 5 days at the beach and taverna relaxing. It was a great experience and we truly felt part of the local community for the short period we stayed. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and do less rather than more! The apartment is spacious and provides all you need for your stay, including a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to chill.

We had a great stay and the accommodation was superbly equipped for the shortness of our stay. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and super clean. The veranda and the view are a great highlight. The only downside: the busy road directly in front of the house. Unfortunately, it's quite noisy. Otherwise, our hostess was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully furnished apartment. The kitchen is especially well equipped, and there is air conditioning in every room, which made our stay very comfortable. The view over the city and the sea is stunning, and the apartment offers a lot of privacy. Dimitris was always attentive and made sure that everything was perfect for us and that we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

One of the most unique experiences of my entire life. You’re living in a poem in this village. The 14th century church around the corner, the taverns, the friendly locals and of course the beautiful home! Mary was a simply fantastic host- so generous and informed. Please check out the olive tree, there’s a fantastic taverna there overlooking the village. It would be a privilege to go back one day. This is a memory I will never forget and share with everyone else who has had the privilege to stay here.

We had a great stay here for our first week in Crete. The property is really nicely furnished and the views are absolutely stunning, both from the large balcony and the private rooftop space. The location was excellent for us, being in a very quiet neighbourhood but within a 3 minute walk from a lovely quiet beach, 10 minute walk from a larger sandy beach, and about 10 minute walk into the main town area which had lots of nice restaurants and shops. We loved watching the sun rise and having breakfast on the outdoor seating on the balcony each day. That view is beautiful. We also used the jacuzzi on the roof top several times. A great stay and we would certainly return and stay again.

Wonderful location. Lively apartment. Only warning is - be prepared for lots of stairs! This is essentially a 4 floor apartment, with bathroom at the entrance floor and bedrooms on the 3rd. Equipment is top notch and the view is fantastic. Would highly recommend

The place was super nicely decorated and it was everything you need and much more. Everything was very clean and quiet. Miltaos Beach is just a great place to relax and rest. You can walk nicely or lie in the sun or stop at one of the 6 tavernas (all with super delicious and cheap food). We were very satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Great place to stay which I highly recommend. We felt at home. We had the beach to ourselves, so to speak. Eftychia was always easily accessible, mega helpful and accommodating. As a welcome gift, she provided us with fresh vegetables, fruits and wine. Everything was perfect.

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

We had an awesome time at Nikos’s place, he gave very useful tips and his apartment is at walking distance from everything in Matala(as the village is very small). As mentioned in other posts, there are quite a few steps to the place but you get used to it, and it’s a great workout after a big dinner in one of the restaurants below. One of the days it was too windy to be on the beach so we stayed on the terrace of the accommodation with a great view of the sea, the sound of the waves and privacy from others. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Thank you Nikos!

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.
