Overall, we felt very comfortable, were always well looked after and the apartment met our expectations. You have to know that in the evening hours one or the other plane also flies to Heraklion. A small supermarket is directly on site and a 2-minute walk away. Otherwise, a quick shopping or eating out by public transport is not so easy without a rental car. By car, everything is no problem in five minutes in a wide selection. The view and the apartment is very good. Swimming on site on foot in five minutes very possible below the apartment. This one was much more generous than expected. Overall, we will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice and stocked with everything you might need. The location is great – quiet and private, yet restaurants, shopping and the beach are within walking distance. Communication with Pantelis was smooth and very pleasant. He welcomed us warmly, gave us great tips and even provided a few drinks and fresh fruit. They responded directly to our request to leave the pool light on for longer. The only small downside: There were quite a few insects, including isolated dead insects in the apartment, which is not uncommon in this area. However, the problem could be easily controlled with sprays from the supermarket. So you could easily overlook it. Overall, we can absolutely recommend the accommodation – we would come back anytime!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing week - we really enjoyed the house and its amenities and the beach is just across the street, so it’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy. If you like to run, there’s a long beach just a few mins away. Hosts were great, very responsive and super helpful. 100% recommend, would definitely come back.

Beautiful villa inside and out - loved every minute of our stay there. It's an excellent location for lovely village of Mochlos and there's a bay where you can swim to left of harbour. Marilou was always on hand with any recommendations etc we needed. Only negative is we didn't realise that the bedroom with its own entrance is actually in a basement so very little natural light. Didn't bother us but does mean you don't see the beautiful views. Can imagine it keeps cooler in peak summer though.

What a wonderful stay! Antonios was incredibly communicative and greeted us warmly during check-in with fully stocked fridge, raki and a delicious platter of tomatoes, cucumbers and feta. The grounds were immaculate, the amenities were exactly as described on the listing. The location is wonderful - multiple small grocery stores located within walking distance, as well as a handful of delicious tavernas and restaurants along the water and in the nearby town. The location was excellent relative to activities on the island - we visited Knossos Palace, Skotino Cave (MAGICAL), Heraklion's Archaeology Museum, Star Beach (for some scuba diving + waterslides with the kids), and an Easter music event in a nearby town. We even rented a dune-buggy for the afternoon from the rental centre right next door. The villa itself had a great outdoor bbq, air conditioning units + smart TVs in every room, a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, clothes lines, beach chairs, pool toys, you name it, it's got it!

What a wonderful first holiday with our 14-month-old daughter! Our stay in the luxury villa really exceeded all our expectations – in reality it is even more beautiful than in the photos. Georgia, the landlady, was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Everything was arranged to perfection: baby bed, buggy, dresser and even a car seat were already ready. When we indicated that the sockets were exactly at the eye level of our little ones, this feedback was, to our surprise, followed up the next day and the sockets were made childproof. Although there had been a big sandstorm just before our arrival, there was no sign of it. Everything was spotless and hygienic. Thanks to the great service, warm welcome and beautiful accommodation, we immediately felt at home. It was our first time in Crete, but certainly not the last – we highly recommend this place!

I will start by saying this is hands down the best airbnb we have ever been to. This review won't even be able to express this and I would give 10 stars if I could. Dimitris is an outstanding host. we arrived quite late and he came out to meet us, helped us with our bags and gave us a thorough tour of the house. he welcomed us with some gifts and even some food. We had a late flight and it was very thoughtful of him to assume we'd be hungry because we were. We felt right at home straight away. the apartment was clean and had everything we could possibly need. there was even a cot and a high chair for our little one. Dimitris was always just a message away and was always there whenever we needed him to answer questions about anything. There was lovely seating to have breakfast outside upstairs or downstairs or by the sea with a beautiful view. we were genuinely sad to have to leave this place. if we airbnb in agios nikolaos again, we will definitely be back here. it was worth every

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

We had a very nice stay, the house was so lovely, with everything provided even a cleaning service. Restaurants and beach clubs can be reach by foot (approximately 10 min walk). There is a very nice traditional village near the house with excellent restaurants (approximately 15 min walk). But most of all thank you very much Stefani for everything you were so nice and helpful, really many thanks everything was perfect thanks to you 🙏🏼 ☺️

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

This house and location is spectacular. There’s even an elevator for the four floors. I woke up every morning to the most amazing view of Agios Nikolaos and lake. Balconies and roof top are lovely. Outstanding location. Host and his brother were always available. Cannot recommend any higher but please don’t book when I want to return 😊

We had a wonderful 5-day vacation at the villa. The property was stunning! It was tastefully designed, offering full privacy, and was super clean. We used the brick oven to make pizza and also enjoyed the pool. Everything was just as it looked in the pictures, and the villa was equipped with everything we needed. Pandelis, the owner, was very responsive to all of our requests and questions. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic villa, we couldnt have asked for more. The house is amazing and immaculate with everything you could need. Elina was the perfect host and went above and beyond and was proactive with extra information and tips. We couldnt have asked for a more welcoming and warm host. 5 star house with a 5 star host. we will be back.

My husband, our 7yo daughter, and I stayed at Michaela's house in Crete for five nights in April, and we enjoyed it very much. The inside is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, but the outside living space - the pool area, the outside dining/grilling area, the terraces - make it special. Michaela's mother Eva, who lives next door, is an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. While she was nearby to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, there was no loss of privacy in the proximity. The house is in a quiet residential area, and we rented a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc., and to explore Crete in general; this was easy and worked out very well. The weather during our stay was still cool enough, especially at night, so we didn't make full use of the AC system, but the house seems well equipped to handle summer heat. All in all, we recommend and hope to stay again sometime!

Giorgos was a great host. Flexible with our demands and very responsive whenever we had any issues. For example, we had a hot water problem, which he resolved quickly after we informed him. The villa is very beautiful with a 360 view of Heraklion and the surrounding area. It has a great living room space for social gatherings, outside tables for dining and a grill. The kitchen was also well equipped with a large fridge+freezer, dish washer, microwave oven and gas hobs. The gym was well equipped and the swimming pool water was very clean. There was a washing machine with a lot of drying space. Several of the rooms have private bathrooms. The villa was not easily reachable by foot but that is the case for most places on Crete. It had however plenty of parking space and remotely operated gates. We didn't try the jacuzzi so can't comment on that and the piano was locked. Overall our stay was amazing, we're very happy and would recommend Giorgos as a host :)

We had a wonderful holiday at the beautiful Villa Cristina! The view is unforgettable, sunrise is especially magical! The Villa has a tranquil setting in the hillside but there is a lovely little seaside village nearby. Liza was very responsive to any requests and helpful with recommendations. We would highly recommend!

We felt very good in this environment, beautiful and very peaceful and very quiet. Really very good and it's really what we were looking for. On site there is a restaurant, with of course, Cretan specialties, there is a beautiful swimming pool, and plenty of walking. The sea is 20 km away. It takes a little time to get there because the road has a lot of turns, but we cross beautiful landscapes with olive fields as far as the eye can see The accommodation is very refined and the decoration is beautiful. In short, we spent five really, really, really pleasant days.

Wonderful modern place. Exteremely spacious and we loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying the views. Simos was excellent - super responsive and provided extra tips and recommendations such as restaurants and supermarkets. All our requests were met, with an infant cot and high chair provided for our baby and the washer and dryer were very handy!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect – very quiet, yet ideal for exploring the island. Everything was clean and exactly like in the photos. Communication was flawless, they responded immediately and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

We had a wonderful time and especially with our babies and children we had everything we needed. Giannis and his wife were extraordinary nice hosts and let us feel welcome from the first second!

This is it - heaven on Earth! Only go here if you can accept this is the best of the best, you have reached perfection, nothing else will measure up. And at some point you will have to leave! Paras was the perfect host, so friendly, knowledgeable and generous. A very interesting and engaging individual. The property is utter perfection. It appears like an oasis, surrounded by lovely plants, trees etc. The whole place is of the highest standard. Even when the wind blew we arrived in the evening to find the leaves etc had been discreetly swept up and the grounds tidied. It has a perfect balance of shade and areas to catch some rays. We spent the mornings by the pool, afternoons at the beach a few minutes away then evenings in the local area having the finest food. The building is air conditioned and has shutters so we slept so well. We can't thank Paras enough for the best holiday ever.

We stayed two nights at the villa and wished we could’ve booked it for more. As a superhost myself with over 500+ Five Star Reviews I can tell you that this place is really great! It had all the amenities, is furnished beautifully, everything is new construction and not run down, spotless & clean, the arrival waters and fruits were awesome, host and cleaning staff were both super friendly and the private pool is just perfect to cool off in !! Would recommend this villa to anyone from a romantic getaway to a small family. 10/10 and will be staying again on our next trip!!
