House holiday rentals in Maydena

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Bowen was just a great host and very responsive. The home was wonderful with an amazing view, love sitting there and watching the ships. When we are in Hobert will be staying there again.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Nick and Georgi were exceptional hosts, responsive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was a perfect space for our group of friends. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped for a larger group, it offered everything we needed and more. From the stunning views to the comfortable communal areas with heated floors, every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience. The generous touch of fresh bread and wine on arrival made it feel extra special. The indoor pool and sauna were a standout feature and an absolute highlight of our winter getaway, everyone loved it. I honestly can’t recommend this home highly enough. A truly outstanding stay.

The view was absolutely beautiful and the host was really responsive, which we really appreciated. The space itself wasn’t the most comfortable or practical, especially for the price, but we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Rob's place is beautiful inside and out. The views are spectacular. It's super quick and easy to walk to the beach, cafes and shops. The house is simply a joy to be in - light filled, comfy and wonderfully styled. You'll find everything you need here. Rob is a generous and accommodating host, communicating openly and responding promptly. We look forward to our next stay at Rob's place!

Nice stay in Hobart with a very comfortable place. Very clean comfortable and pleasant house to stay in. Has a nice view towards the river. We enjoyed our 3 nights here.

If you ever think about a place where the company of the person you are with can then be matched by the surroundings, comfort and atmosphere this is it. Freya and Grahams place is absolutely stunning, very thoughtful, everything you could need in the cupboards to cook up a storm and spare jackets in the cupboard to borrow if you needed them. Freya and the family live upstairs, very little disruption or noise. Parking is a little difficult as one side of the street is metered and the unmetered side was full majority of the time we were there. Plenty of brochures and suggestions as to how you can spend your time in Tasmania. We really felt at home here

It was the first time in Tasmania for our family, and Robyn's mansion is definitely one of the best part of our trip. the mansion itself is located in a very peaceful area which is not very faraway from Hobart city, with an impressive scenic lakeview around the house. Robyn made sure every instructions are well-prepared for us therefore we had no problem checking-in, and she is very responsive when we needed help. In the morning after we arrived, we had a problem with the coffee machine and we reached out for help which Robyn replied and get the problem solved right away. after we went back from the town in the evening we found a new set of coffee machine and capsules for us, we were very impressive on how helpful and responsive she is toward us. to conclude our review, I would totally recommend this well-deserved home for vacation. The host is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time here, truly a sanctuary and this place made us fall in love with Tasmania. Thank you!

Excellent. Luxurious house, well equipped with heating in every room and a complete kitchen. Beautiful views from the house as well. Really really good stay.

A fabulous stay. Super comfy bed. Very well equipped house and kitchen. Great location and walkable to central Hobart, Salamanca Markets and Battery Point. Two great cafes within yards of the home. Staying in an historical home just added something special to our visit to Hobart. Thank you Bec.

Great place. Easy 15-20 minute walk to the wharf and city for the Salamanca markets, Dark Mofo festival and more! Kitchen facilities great, clean space and great lounge area. Good heaters during the winter too Parking can be a bit tight to get into, but if you take it slow it’s fine and definitely a great safe parking space. Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful home, and comfortable. Well appointed, access to the national park was straightforward by car. Bring some smaller cash notes if you like buying produce from roadside stands. Look forward to staying here again Not a feature of the house at all, but the local eateries* were somewhat disappointing (except for stopping in at agrarian kitchen kiosk on the way in from Hobart) vs the kitchen at the house was so lovely that in retrospect we would have put more effort into cooking at home. *cafe at the mount field visitors centre and the fika cafe at Maydena

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oskar's and Gabbi's beach house. Stunning views and very peaceful. There is so much to do and see on Bruny Island. Gabbi and Oskar were very helpful and responsive which made our stay great. Hopefully we can come back and stay again sometime.

The house was cosy and centrally located. There was heaters in each room d electric blankets which complimented the indoor fireplace whilst dealing with the winter nights. The kitchen was well equipped with a well stocked pantry.

This property is 5 star throughout. Very classy. Loved the art work. The bath was luxurious. Beautiful deck out back. Quality linen. Exceptional value. $9 Uber ride into CBD. Eating places also walking distance. Local Italian Club had amazing food and is only 400 metres away. (Anyone welcome). Highly recommend this property.

Thank you to Eve for the wonderful hosting and accommodation. The house is incredible, a great mix of original house that has been modernised through an amazing extension. Eve was generous in providing late check-out upon request. Location is fantastic, very central in the west of Hobart. Highly recommended.

Bart was a great host, always responsive and helpful. The property was warm, neat and clean, with everything we needed. There are some really beautiful nature walks and drives in the area. Stock up on supplies before you get to Maydena as the nearest supermarket is a 45 minute drive, but there is a cafe right next door. We had a great stay!
