Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mayo

Recently we stayed in Carme's place for two nights and it was a home away from home. The house is beautiful, spacious and cosy and it boasts a beautiful view of Croagh Patrick. I loved seeing the cows in the field while having my breakfast and the family sheep dog is so friendly. Thank you Carmel for your delicious home baked bread, jam and your farm eggs. It was such a lovely and welcoming gesture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will just have to come back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Boat Shed. It was incredibly clean with a really well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Location was absolutely beautiful and felt very private with great views and close to Westport town. Michelle was so nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome as well as giving us some great recommendations for the area. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Donal war absolut großartig! Die Unterkunft war genauso, wie beschrieben – sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Donal achtet sehr auf Details wie etwa liebevolle Blümchen aus dem Garten in den Zimmern. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von Donals Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft – er war immer schnell erreichbar und hatte tolle Tipps für die Umgebung parat. Die Lage ist ideal, ruhig und trotzdem nah an allem Wichtigen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Ganz klare Empfehlung! Great stay at Rest Easky, great base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, lovely quiet village with everything you need - groceries, cafe, pub, butchers, pottery shop. The interior was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything required. Would stay here again when coming back to Easky!

Had a lovely stay. Marian was an attentive host and was always available if needed but not intrusive. She gave us several recommendations for places to eat. She also provided us with some food items and her banana bread was worth waiting for. The accommodation is behind her own property which made it feel more safe and secure.

Spacious home perfect for larger groups, with plenty of rooms and great socializing areas. The location offers stunning views and is very convenient. Heating and showers take some getting used to, but it’s not a major issue. Highly recommend the place, location, and host—excellent value!

Eine traumhafte Lage mit Ausblick in jede Himmelsrichtung, jeweils ganz besonders und dadurch nie langweilig. Ein guter Startpunkt für etliche (Wander-) Touren. Auch hierzu Tipps erhalten. Sonne (wenn Sie denn scheint) von morgens bis abends am bzw im Haus. Wir haben bereits nach wenigen Tagen entschieden, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder kommen wollen. Zum erholen genießen und abschalten eine der besten Unterkünfte die ich kenne. Und keine Angst vor der Zufahrt, ist wirklich absolut machbar und fordert weder ein besonderes Auto noch einen besonderen Fahrer.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und bietet auch für mehrere Fahrzeuge Parkmöglichkeiten. Gerard war sehr zuvorkommend und gab gute Tipps für Touren, um Ballina und die Region zu erkunden. Bei Problemen, die wir mit dem Motorrad hatten, haben uns alle sehr geholfen. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die Besuche im Pub nebenan, wo wir viele interessante Gespräche mit netten Leuten hatten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

Very nice and calm place ! Eilen is Lovely and have give us all the tips to speed our honeymoon in the best places of Mayo. I recommend it 100%

Patricia war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Das Studio ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr gut. Patricia hatte uns sehr viele nützliche Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in Westport gegeben. Wir fanden dort gute Restaurants und eines der besten irischen Pubs.

Jenna's place was in the perfect location to explore Westport! Quiet, private entrance and easy access to the inexpensive car park at the rear of the property. The flat felt like a home from home. Lovely and clean and the small balcony was the perfect suntrap! The bread/butter/chocolate was much appreciated and a nice touch. To reach the flat, you will climb two flights of covered outside stairs, but these are safe and not steep. Our favourite place for breakfast/boxty is Christy's Harvest - a must if you want an authenticate Irish cafe experience and the food is fantastic! Thank you for a fabulous stay, Jenna. We will return.

Olivia hat uns am Tag vor der Anreise Bilder vom Haus und genaue Erklärungen geschickt, wie wir das Haus finden, wo die Schlüsselbox ist und so. Als wir ankamen waren wir vom ersten Moment an total begeistert von der Wohnung, sie war genau wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Sehr schön, Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer sind zufälligerweise genau wie unser Einrichtungsstil zuhause gewesen. Das hat uns sofort ein „Zuhause-Gefühl“ gegeben. Die Wohnung war überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Es gab mehrere Sorten Tee, Duschgele, Shampoo, Conditioner - Handseife von Rituals, es gab adapterstecker & Haarspray, zusätzlich eine schöne kuschelige Wolldecke. Olivia haben wir am Tag der Abreise persönlich kennen lernen dürfen und haben ein sehr sympathisches und angenehmes Gespräch mit ihr geführt. Wir würden die Wohnung und Olivia als Vermieterin jederzeit empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement. Philippe a pris le temps de nous accueillir et nous expliquer ce qu'il fallait concernant l’appartement. Bel appartement très propre, très fonctionnel et le point de départ de superbes balades à pieds (côté abbaye) ou en voiture pour découvrir le Connemara et Mayo. Idéal, nous le recommandons chaudement. Merci à nos hôtes pour la qualité de leur hébergement et de leur accueil.

My stay at Myra's was wonderful!! The apartment is exactly as described and had everything I needed during my week long visit. I loved the location which was an easy short walk to town and with a grocery store just a few minutes away. Myra and her family were wonderful hosts of who made me feel at home. I highly recommend their place!!

Great place to stay right in the centre of Westport with a lovely outdoor terrace. Would 100% stay here again when I’m back in Westport

Great place to stay, quiet, clean, spacious with everything you would need. Location is right in the heart of Westport so only a very short walk to all the pubs and restaurants. Patrick was a great host and always provided clear and helpful instructions. Would be happy to recommend this property for a short stay in Westport - its location cannot be bettered.

Super gelegen im Zentrum, einfacher Check-in, saubere, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt! ein Couchtisch würde die Einrichtung noch abrunden.

I felt right at home in this beautiful, cosy, picturesque AirB&B with a beautiful garden. The attention to detail was exceptional. On arrival the radio was playing, the heating was on and there were some lovely homemade scones along with a welcome note layed out on the breakfast bar. This created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The garden and small patio create a private and beautiful space to relax and unwind in. Especially at this time of year with the flowers in full bloom and the birds singing. You have everything you could possibly need, Michelle has thought of everything, and the town is within walking distance. Plus the soap in the bathroom is a real luxury and smells so nice. Michelle is a lovely, kind and considerate host, she's easily reachable and truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this AirB&B

The owner was brilliant communicate with, every instruction to get in and how to get around was very good, we had a group and it was seem less!! We will definitely be back to this location as part of our yearly trip! Thanks for everything!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Catherine's apartment, which was very comfortable, nicely laid out, very well equipped and very spacious. It's located on the top floor, at the rear of the building, which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Another positive is the fact that there is a parking space in the building as on-street parking outside always seemed to be full. It's in a great location, with bars, restaurants etc., in walking distance and there's even a convenience store nearby. We also found the location to be very convenient for access to the various attractions of the area. Overall, we were very pleased to have found this property and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Super location, great hosts and the cleaner, Sally was also helpful and friendly. The listing omits the fact that there are two shower rooms with toilets, so the facilities are better than you would expect. We were staying for a wedding at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. The location is great for that and you can see where you were staying on the wedding pictures.
