The house is well appointed with everything except for Wi-Fi. A perfect excuse to unplug and relax. Easy, well maintained access road less than 2 miles from the highway. A great home base for many adventures!

Mt Shavano Cabin

Mt Shavano Cabin at Monarch Spur RV Park & Campground is in the heart of the Rockies. Perched on the top of a hill with the San Isabell National Forrest as your backyard. You can hear the South Arkansas river while you sit on the front porch or patio. You can enjoy river access and there's a camp store on the property. Fish and hike from the property. Full kitchen with everything you need. Linens and towels are provided and there's shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the full bathroom.

The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!
