Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Meade County

Kasey’s house was perfect for our weekend at the Ripken ballpark. It was great to be able to come “home” between games to rest and to do laundry. The house had everything we needed and was just as advertised.

The house was spacious with lots of sleeping options. It has everything you could possibly need. Very well maintained. Kitchen was very well stocked. It seved our needs fantastically! Lynn was very responsive.

We traveled here from Nashville with our three teenagers for a quick visit to Kentucky Kingdom! Our son, 18yo, claimed the basement as his personal chill pad, while the two teen girls chose the "twin beds" room located on the top floor. Us parents ended up choosing the cozy bottom bedroom facing the backyard. We all appreciated having our personal spaces at the end of a busy day! Honestly, though, when we first walked in, I was blown away to see original home details that are usually ditched with older home remodels. The doors and doorknobs, the wood framing around the doors and windows, the wood flooring, THE FIREPLACE... all lovingly rescued! I lost count with how many times I said I wished we could find a gem like this. The parking area behind the house, down a quiet alleyway, was very well-lit and felt extremely safe. Also, for us, we did not experience ANY concerning noise disturbances, or witness anything nefarious.😉 Thank you, Luke & Katie! We enjoyed your charming home

Very nice place, wish I could have stayed longer!

The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The house was exactly what we were looking for. We have a golden retriever and this was our first opportunity to take her on vacation. It worked out great.

The River’s Edge Oasis was a great place to stay for our quick trip through Louisville. Had some difficulties for a few minutes getting the keys, but James answered very quickly and we figured out the issue and everything was smooth sailing from there. The house is decorated very nicely and very clean, you’ve got everything you need and if you don’t have it there are plenty of options around to find what you’re looking for. It was beautiful to wake up overlooking the Ohio River in the early mornings, very quiet and peaceful. James and his team were very accommodating and it made our short stay so enjoyable. We would definitely book this house again if we’re ever in the Louisville area!

We throughly enjoyed David's home. It in a peaceful neighborhood with a great backyard! We used the kitchen alot during our stay and it had everything we needed! The laundry amenities were also very convenient with detergent and stain remover provided. David was very responsive and understanding! We absolutely hope to stay here again!

Great Stay! Very affordable as well

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

Annette was so helpful! I accidentally forgot a load of laundry in the dryer after I checked out. She was quick to reach out and let me know before I drove too far away!

We had a WONDERFUL stay, the apartment was gorgeous. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Bruce was very responsive from the beginning of my booking through our complete stay. He went above and beyond with little details to make the stay so personal. We loved the muffins 😊 I highly recommend staying here while in the area. Thank you for being a part of our memorable weekend.

The place is in great location. And quiet

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Libor’s place. We were in town for a weekend wedding, and the location was perfect—close to restaurants, coffee shops, and some really cute thrift and regular stores. The house itself was super cute and spacious. The only thing we really missed was a full-length mirror, especially since we had to get dressed up often. It would’ve been very helpful to have one. Overall we recommend Libor’s place!

Fantastic hosts, very communicative and LOTS to do at this spot! They had a pool, hot tub, rooftop hangout and more! Also, in downtown Louisville so restaurants are walkable! It was a nice little get away spot. Glad we came!

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. Thanks

What a lovely place! My family was so comfy in this big, beautiful home. Lots of places for family hangout time, but plenty of room to spread out as well. Jessica and Kir have thought of everything...this place has it all. Our favorite hangs...the front porch, the sun room, and the pool of course. The kitchen has everything you could need for preparing family meals and plenty of seating for dining. The hosts greeted us at their property and provided us with all the details about how everything worked. They were super responsive and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved our stay and hope to visit again.

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. If we’re lucky enough to visit the derby again in the future, we would definitely look at staying here. Thank you for a great stay Annette!

The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
