Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Meckenbeuren

The apartment is small but lovingly furnished with everything you need and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the fact that you can also use a swimming pool and a sauna with the key. In the immediate vicinity there is a delicious restaurant, otherwise you walk approx. 10 minutes to the village and there are many possibilities there. There is a folder with all the important information and many tips (for hikes, restaurants, etc.). Only the view of the street is not quite as nice, but manageable. Overall, we were very satisfied with the stay.

Great welcome. Thanks for the strawberries and salad. Our hosts were very discreet but available if needed. The accommodation was spacious with a beautiful view of the garden.

Stephanie was a nice and helpful hostess. She had already provided us with a lot of information in advance and the communication was very easy. The accommodation was very cozy and clean, we felt comfortable right away. There is everything you need. Unfortunately, the village is a bit remote (mountain pass) and you don't have too many shopping and restaurant options. It is not overcrowded and pleasantly quiet. If you prepare well, it's not a problem. I'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay for four in Jacomien's accommodation in Mittelberg. It was clean, tidy and everything matched the descriptions. The aparthotel, in which the apartment is located, offers many additional amenities at an extra cost, such as breakfast or half board, bread roll service, hot food to take away or a wellness area. Our children (4 and 7 years old) had a lot of fun in the indoor pool and play area - the climbing course is really great! We could comfortably walk from the accommodation in 5 minutes to the bus stop of the Walser bus and start our excursions from there. Overall, we had a nice weekend! Thank you, Jacomien, for the nice communication and your proactive contact. We booked only one day before arrival, and yet everything was perfectly organized! We'll be back!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in the beautiful Villa Wahlwies. Everything was very clean and communication with Fabian and Franziska was super easy and relaxed. The large property is beautifully maintained and we were able to enjoy the warm summer evening on the large terrace. Lake Constance is only 10 minutes away by car and Constance can be reached in 25 minutes. For us, it was a perfect combination of relaxing and a little shopping in the city. We will definitely be back!

The place was very clean and modernly furnished and offers everything you need for self-catering. Fridge, stove and oven, as well as all necessary kitchen utensils are provided. The beds are comfortable, so we slept well. Right next to our apartment we had a swimming pool and sauna, which were free to use. Approximately 200 m away, you have the possibility to use a small fitness area or a table tennis table. Scheidegg has a small village center with some restaurants, a kebab shop and some bakeries. Communication with Sascha was easy and straightforward. We recommend this place :)

Very nice and clean apartment. There was nothing missing in the apartment, many small details were thought of that are not always self-evident. The communication between Jana& Adrian was very warm and helpful. The surrounding area is very beautiful with many hiking and excursion possibilities. We can recommend the apartment with a very good conscience.

the pool and all the wellness stuff from the hotel were free to use and extremely beautiful. the room we stayed in was very nice and modern. there was more than one balcony which was very cool :) we both enjoyed staying there

very warm welcome, friendly, open hosts. Ambience wonderful. Beautiful hiking trails can be reached in 1 minute from the castle. Very large garden. Very quiet location but excursions in all kinds of directions wonderfully feasible. Swimming lake 10 minutes by car. Anytime again, just beautiful!

Marcel and Yvonne were perfect hosts, nice, quiet place and close to St Gall.

Jennifer‘s place (hosted by Natasha) was extremely well located for access to trains to the Zürich and St Gallen area. Very spacious and clean + appreciated my host’s hospitality and quick response!

We were accommodated as a large family in the house and everyone enjoyed the stay! There is enough space, everything is spotless clean, high-quality amenities, underfloor heating, etc... really great luxury! In addition, Herbert is a great host, very good communication and really accommodating. In the hot tub you can really relax, overlooking nature. We will be happy to come back!

Our JGA with 12 people stayed at Base Camp for 2 nights, we loved it! An experience that's pretty unrivaled in the region. The fact that we were late for check-in was not a problem at all, Karl is a very nice landlord who was always immediately available via mobile phone if we had questions or a problem. There is so much to do in the accommodation (legendary basement!) and in the city that we didn't even have a "boring" phase after the 2 nights, rather we would have to come back again to do the things we didn't have time for this time. Also for the uncomplicated handling when moving out (garbage, empties) 5 stars and thank you! It is quite clear when reading through the offer what is available and what to take care of yourself, and so we didn't miss anything at all. Of all the guests, thank you again to Karl and who knows when the next one of us needs a JGA. :)

We were completely satisfied. Easy communication. Very quiet idyllic location of the house with beautiful garden, but in a small place with little infrastructure and yet a little out of the way. At least there's a baker there. The supermarket is about 15 minutes away by car. The house is very cozy furnished and really fully equipped. The kitchen is also a bit small, but has everything you need. High-quality strainer coffee machine. Plenty of space with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Space to park directly at the house for 2 vehicles (garage and parking space in front of it), but access is quite steep. Wifi fast enough to make video calls from there. Clear recommendation, we (family with 3 generations) would vacation there again in a heartbeat!

Eugen’s home was beautifully decorated, spacious, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, very clean, everything we needed was there..could not have picked a better home …Highly recommend this property

We, 5 adults, 1 toddler and a crawling baby, felt very comfortable with Vanessa and Rolf. The half of the house was absolutely sufficient for our stay and the "big one" felt very comfortable in his room. The tips we had already received in advance were great and some of them were great to implement with the kids. The contact in advance was also very helpful and friendly. Thank you for this lovely stay ♥️
