Barn accommodation in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Marc’s home was a beautiful, private and peaceful oasis. We were 4 adults and Marc hosted us with a warm welcoming, providing us a warm and friendly environment, that made us feel at home. We loved to see our neighbor’s dog visit us at the garden when we were outside. He was so friendly and loved to play. The backyard garden was the best part of Marc’s home. We had a ton of space to relax and read after a long day, and a large table to eat out in when we prepared a bbq. There are many trees and a sun umbrella to make shade. Thank you Marc for hosting us. You have a beautiful home and surroundings.

We enjoyed the stay at Fariba very much. It is a beautiful, peaceful place where we felt very comfortable and welcome at a meeting of 3 families (6 adults, 7 children). The highlights were the cozy meadow behind the house with table tennis, fireplace, space to play frisbee, chickens and horses. Inside, there is a beautiful open living and dining area with a cozy fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. The standard corresponds to the description of the display. It remains a converted barn with rooms accessible only from the courtyard and a compost toilet as a second toilet on the meadow. If you are ready to get involved, you will find a wonderfully relaxed place to feel good. Fariba was on site at the farm, approachable for questions and responded very openly and easily to our requests and wishes. So there was even an excursion with the horses through the village and into the forest to the delight of the children.

We felt very comfortable with Laudine and Martina during the week. From check-in to check-out, everything was extremely friendly and flexible. The apartment was 100% in line with the photos and descriptions. In the immediate vicinity, possible activities are limited (our little ones nevertheless enjoyed the playground as well as the grazing ponies opposite), but the entire area from Lübeck to Scharbeutz can be reached in a few minutes by car. All in all, great hosts and an equally great stay!!

If you are looking for a few days of peace and relaxation, this is the place to have breakfast in a park among fruit trees with sensational views of a water lilies, early in the morning you have the chance to see a kingfisher while bathing, behind the house a beautiful stream, as far as the eye can see fields meadows and forest . Beautiful natural beach 15 min boltenhagen 30 min Lübeck or Wismar 45 min! Wi-Fi poorly the nearest baker 15 minutes away - didn't matter to us! Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic location in the nature with great garden for kids.

Our week in Nordwestuckmark brightened up our January! Probably one of the best Airbnb stays and we have stayed in many. My husband and I, along with 2 friends, and 2 dogs, stayed for a remote working week here and we had a relaxing week full of walks and ghost stories. Definite highlight is the large window facing the fields with beautiful sunrises and views throughout the day. Lots of wildlife to be seen. The kitchen is well-equipped with more than the basic appliances and spices. The space is well-heated (underfloor heating made all the difference in winter!) and the Kaminofen provided extra cozy evenings. Bed and pillows are soft and comfortable. The garden is great for dogs but beware that wildlife is around so your dogs should be leashed or have great recall/Rückruf. Like the other reviewer said, it’s true that you can hear your friends in the flat, but the four of us took our work calls just fine in our spaces without disturbance. We really recommend Margita’s place.

Very nice, clean house. Very spacious and also a great, large property.

We were there with a group of 10 friends and love accommodations where we all have space to cook together, sit at a table and enjoy a weekend. We really liked the outdoor area for having breakfast or dinner in the sun. Communication with the Strauss family was great. We'd love to come back. :)

Thanas place is a great opportunity to rest and unwind after the noise of the city. Our kids loved playing in the barn and run around the green property, which was designed with great attention to detail. Thana is a quite artistic person and you can see it everywhere. We enjoyed our stay and the long evenings by the campfire very much.

Wonderful place and nice host. WOLFÜHLOASE However, if you are mainly looking for peace, you should ask if this is really the case in the rented period. Many nice excursions possible, bike recommended .

It was so beautiful in Goldenbaum. The barn with all its attractions (table tennis, kicker, etc.), the cozy and cuddly room and the beautiful bathroom (which we didn't really need because of the bathing lakes all around :), it was just a wonderful weekend. And then there are the horses, the walk with the pony. Actually, I shouldn't recommend it so much because we want to come back soon.

We spent the weekend at the accommodation and were thrilled. The accommodation is great, spacious, well equipped, quietly located with a super nice environment. A small, beautiful bathing lake is in the immediate vicinity. The contact with the landlady went great. We would recommend the place at any time:)

We felt very comfortable in the "cowshed". A large apartment with its own terrace. Everything was clean and tidy. Kerstin was a great host, always easy to reach and totally helpful. Your tips for the area were great. Gladly again :)

great experience, quiet location and comfortable and modern accommodation, a short drive from Peenemunde. We also took advantage of the list of locations recommended by the hosts and visited areas that we would not otherwise have found.

The accommodation is cozy and has a beautiful view of a beautifully landscaped garden. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place! We had a nice time here, sitting a lot by the fire pit or by the fireplace. There are many beautiful sports and toys for children, all of which are available free of charge. The area offers many opportunities for walking, swimming, cycling or excursions to animal parks or the like. We will definitely come back, many thanks to the hosts! 🌳🐛🌾

A really great property which exceeded expectations. It was an excellent base to explore the local area. Within an hour both east and west are fantastic beaches and places to explore. It’s also right on the Baltic cycle path so great for day trips on the bikes. Even in bad weather this property provides a home from home.

We were there in February- we, my significant other,my dad, my mother-in-law and our Wilma. It was great with the dog. We were able to open the patio door and Wilma could go into the garden without any problems without having to worry about her running away. The apartment was super nice and we would book again. Very nice close to the dyke - so we could also go for a walk directly. We even had a fireplace, but we didn't have it on, as the weather was too nice and we were out and about a lot. I would be happy to come back. We also definitely have to go back there to enjoy the sauna... When our parents aren't there 😀

Beautiful old farm with lovingly and practically furnished apartments. Ours had a roof terrace, which we enjoyed very much. The location is great, you can quickly reach the dog beach and also go for a great walk. Kerstin is a very likeable and helpful hostess, gives daily tips for activities or restaurants and is always available if you need something. Would come back anytime 🥰

Modern house with rustic charm, well-equipped kitchen, lovingly furnished. Modern bathroom and cozy beds. I slept really well here. Perfect for enjoying life, celebrating love, working or relaxing. The view of green meadows with sheep, horses and a donkey right in front of the house is hard to beat. An absolute recommendation.
