Monthly Rentals in Megalo Metochi

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the villa. The kids had the best time swimming, playing football and tennis, bouncing on the trampoline etc. it was great having so much for them to do at the house so we didn’t have to worry about taking them out when they needed to burn off some energy. This meant the adults could really relax and enjoy their time too. The house is well located, 10-15 minute drive to most places you want to be, supermarket less than 10mins away. Markos was really helpful, met us at the villa when we arrived and gave us loads of recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The place was perfect, we would love to come back!

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful place in the mountains. Georgios and his family are very nice hosts,they gave us vegetables and fruits from the garden,and also homemade cheese. The place is very calm,at 10 minutes from the town. It was a very nice place to discover the region. Thank you!

Niki is a great host. She allowed me to do a very late check in. The place itself is spacious and well equipped and just in front of a big beautiful garden. Niki also recommended a few nice local restaurants. I’d be happy to return.

We booked the villa as a special treat to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children, their partners and 7 grandchildren - 14 of us! The villa is huge and gave us plenty of space to spread out, as well as providing areas inside and out where we could enjoy time together - plenty of seating for eating and relaxing together. The villa, pool and grounds are out of this world, with beautiful views of mountains and sea! You definitely need to hire a car as the nearby pretty town of Rethymno is not within walking distance, although only 10mins in the car. Giorgos arranged for us to have 3 hire cars delivered to the villa when we arrived. He also organised transport for us from Chania airport to the villa, and the return journey. We had lots of questions for Giorgos in the weeks leading up to our stay and he always answered promptly and dealt efficiently with our requests. Thank you, Giorgos! The whole family enjoyed the most amazing, memorable 10days!
