We have been a finde in this cozy little house, and the village is very quiet. If you want to disconnect, it's ideal. Also 2km away , there is a restaurant that is spectacular and well worth it. The reception with the host very good, friendly and flexible in the check-out time as we could go later without a problem. We recommend this place and would return again. A pleasure

My partner and I were a weekend staying here and we couldn't have chosen better!! The site is dreamy and has everything you need to spend a few days of disconnection, both for the apartment and the common areas. Also, it's great located within the village. We highly recommend it!! Our stay at La Casa de Chocolate, in Cuevas del Valle, was unbeatable. The house is beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated, perfect to enjoy a few days of disconnection in the heart of nature. Everything was taken care of in detail, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The environment is a wonder: surrounded by mountains and with beautiful routes very close by, ideal for hiking lovers or simply for those who want to breathe pure air. One detail that we loved was the welcome with delicious homemade doughnuts, a gesture that reflects the affection with which the hosts care for their guests. In general, we really liked everything: the tranquility, the environment, the cleanliness, the comfort… Without a doubt, La Casa de Chocolate is a place we would return to with our eyes closed. Highly recommended!

We spent a few days 3 families with 4 children including a baby and had a very comfortable stay. The house is spacious and better than what you see in the photos. Dámaso and Begoña were very friendly and communication always smooth with recommendations of activities and places to order food. Thank you very much!!

We went 5 couples (10 people) to spend a weekend and had a great time. In principle we were going to be 12 but two have not been able to go and I think that, -if nice space there was and had been entered-, for 10 people the house is fine, maybe the 12 would have been a tighter pelín. The house is very nice in a very natural environment, quiet and with privacy. Although the weather didn't accompany us a lot, we enjoyed the gallery, the fireplace and the house itself. The beds were comfortable, the beautiful views. The only thing we suggested to Javier is that the fridge takes a little bit to cool well (when you regulate it), and that we have run out of hot water when we took the shower several. We think in the summer with the pool it would be a total enjoyment. ¡I'm sure we'll be back!

We had great time with our dog, and Ana was always there if we have any question. What a great getaway with fine artistic details to connect with Nature. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

It's like being at home. This is the second year we've been and I'm sure there will be more!

Possibly our new Secret Spot to disconnect. The location is privileged at the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos. Really a magical place to have intimacy and rest for a few days. The area has many options to do activities or, as we choose, to rest and disappear from the noise of the city. We will keep it in mind for sure for future trips.

We were 6 friends and had a very pleasant weekend. The house was clean, good location and a very quiet place by the river. Ana María was a perfect host in terms of communication before arrival and when we arrived, she explained everything in detail. Just to mention that you can't barbecue in the summer to protect the environment, but there's a grill that we could use. We will definitely repeat, we felt at home!

This place is a paradise Luxury qualities, the environment next to the stream and the common areas so well cared for both inside and outside. The rooms are very comfortable. You can't hear a noise that isn't from nature. It is very warm with the heater and its fireplace, in addition to having enough firewood. Maria recommended several places where we could go to eat with our dog in nearby villages and it was a success. It is a perfect place for those who want to rest in the middle of nature and have certain amenities that are not usually found in all rural accommodations. The level of detail and the care with which the accommodation is restored is wonderful. We'll be back for sure

Pablo is a very attentive and kind host. The Tower is very cozy and is in perfect condition and clean. It has everything you may need for your stay. Definitely highly recommended. We'll be back!

Extraordinary find!! I was solo, but could easily accommodate 4 people. It must have been recently updated, every corner felt new, and smelled fresh. Thick stone walls and shutterable windows keep it cool and quiet. Bed was large and very comfortable. I was thrilled with the artistic styling and modern amenities—the laundry machine washes FAST, but to dry it's better to use the outside drying rack (it's quick in this climate!). Private off street parking was a big plus. The wine bar next door full of nice locals, and cheerful owner. Little convenience store open late just steps away. I was only sad that I didn't book Clara's place longer. Note: we did not speak the same language but we used a translator app and it was fine! She was so patiend and friendly. I want to adopt Clara as my Spanish auntie!

It felt like a hotel, and everything was perfectly prepared. However, it would have been better if a translator had been used for communication, but I was able to communicate with my relatives who spoke English. It's a nice countryside neighborhood. It would have been better if I had more time.

The house is wonderful, very comfortable, the pool is a luxury and Carmen is super attentive, we would repeat for sure. In the village there are little things to see: the castle, the doll museum and the Visigoth treasure. Access to Toledo and Puy du Fou is very easy.

The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos. Very nice, clean and tidy. Note that there is no microwave or hair dryer. The curtains in the rooms let in some light, so if you need total darkness it is always advisable to wear a mask. For parking, there is an abundance of on-street sites just in front of the home. The host is very friendly and with an absolute willingness for any help I can provide. The house is decorated with handmade elements that the majority of the owner has manufactured, which gives it a plus of originality and exclusivity.

The owner José María is very kind and very attentive to us. The house was very comfortable for us to be together for a family group for two days.

An enviable location in the mountains of Madrid. A beautiful house and 100% recommended for weddings and wedding photos prior to the ceremony.
