Gîte Le Sambre

Ce logement mémorable est tout sauf ordinaire. L'histoire de notre péniche, ou le confort moderne rencontre le calme apaisant de l'eau, pour une évasion totale. Notre péniche ne navigue plus depuis des années mais en 2023 a été remise à neuf. Le bateau date de 1947, il ravitaillait les péniches en eau potable sur la Meuse, rapatrié il y a environ 35ans au chantier naval de Thuin qui n'existe plus maintenant. Il a servit de restaurant jusqu'en 2022 et puis a été transformé en gîte.

There is a also a cosy reading corner and a beautiful brand new bathroom with an italian shower. 65 square meters in total with air conditioning. Therefore, you have all the comfort and equipment necessary to enjoy a great stay. Of course, my belongings are there. Close to France, Ragnies, Charleroi or Mons. 1 hour from Brussels. Since September 2023, a new sofa has served as a second bed.
