Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Meru County

This place exceed our expectations. First, it's very close to Nanyuki shopping centre, about 8 minutes drive. the distance from the road is very short. The environment was fantastic, very well manicured lawns and very serene environment. The house itself is very well taken care of. The care Taker was ready to help when we needed assistance. This is a great place to stay in Nanyuki

What a gorgeous location and fantastic host! We were 5 adults, one 5 year old and one teenager and had a very relaxing weekend . What we loved - Stunning views, beautiful A frame house with well kept rooms, fresh linen. Bonus - friendly dogs, lovely horses , amazing sunrise views. Room for slight improvement - carry sleeping masks if you sleep in, as the A frame window design makes it hard for the curtains to fully block out the morning sunrays. What was unbeatable - Wizzy is extremely responsive and helpful host. Something to try when you visit - Wizzy and John are incredible and they have a great horse riding training school - 4 of us had lessons and really enjoyed it. I chickened out after it rained a bit, but I guesse leaves something to do for the next trip! Overall quite happy and highly recommend.

Was a real in and out but would love to go earlier next time and enjoy the garden which looked really tranquil . Rooms were big and spacious and the house clean with decent wifi

Hellen is Great host and she has amazing house keepers. If you are looking for a place to stay within Nanyuki, I would highly recommend Hellens place.

We really enjoyed our time here! The house is very spacious, with a large livingroom and well furnished kitchen. We also loved the garden - even though there are some chickens that may wake you up in the morning! The check-in was smooth, and both the owner and the house keeper are extremely friendly and welcoming. The house keeper also cooked us a great meal which we really enjoyed. The area is safe and quiet - yet not far from the centre! In summary, the perfect house for our needs. Only one small point was that the beds are a little small for a couple to share, but only a minor issue.

A beautiful stylish eco retreat - a lovely getaway and peaceful weekend away with friends. Sarah was accomodating and a good communicator and Kelvin and Albert were friendly and helpful. As listed, the house is quite far from Nanyuki town, so make sure to take all your supplies with you- and a 4WD was needed (especially in the wet season!) Thanks for a lovely stay!

The house is very spacious and modern, the furniture was very well chosen and laid out. The rooms were big and had ensuite bathrooms. The house interior is well done. Some downsides, the outside area of the house is not usable, since its technically unfinished. The area is also dump and the lighting inside the house is not good. The rooms feel dump. Overall, this was an okay place.

We decided to treat ourselves on our camping roadtrip with a night at Stephanie. Late midday we stumbled upon this place and didnt look further. Luckily Stephanie responded within 5 minutes that we are welcome for the night. We were welcomed by the lovely Agnes, she lives in the house next door. And she is in for a good chat, wants to show you her shamba (veg garden) and she helped me to learn how to make chiapati. The house is amazing. Wide kitchen, very comfortable bed and bathroom. But the view from the terrace is out of this world. The perfect sundowner with wide views on the Lewa Conservancy. Even without binoculars you are able to spot elephants, oryx, gazelles and osstrich. I highly recommend this place.

Edna was a wonderful host. I got in later than the check-in time and she was kind enough to wait for me. The house is as described on the app. During my stay, the host was quick to respond to all my needs. I would definitely book the place again if i have another trip to Meru.

It was a nice clean place , thoroughly enjoyed the balcony space. It was exactly as the pictures and extra blankets were provided.

it was perfect for my family

Brave's apartment is wonderful. The pictures conveyed on the app does not reflect the entirety of it's beauty! You just need to book it to believe it 😀 The apartment has a stable internet, a great working station, a comfy place to lie down as you catch up on movies/series and you'll have a beautiful view of Mt Kenya from the balcony. In terms of security, the entrance to and from the residence is well manned and it was always locked. I felt at ease just by being there. Brave communicates promptly and efficiently and I hope to visit once more in the near future!

I really enjoyed my stay at Aurora! The instructions were clear and all the information provided was accurate and very easy to follow. The house was very clean, very aesthetically pleasing, very comfortable, and very well taken care of. Val was very friendly and resposive. The staff very welcoming and present. The stay was very peaceful and private with a stunning balcony view!

This was a lovely space. Clean and comfortable.

I was looking for a quiet place to rest and I got it. The mattress and pillows were were very comfortable, plus the blackout curtains; all made rest so very inviting! The house was very clean, tastefully furnished and the view of the nearby forest was absolutely gorgeous. I am most certainly sure I heard an elephant trumpet on my second day! Peter was a great host, and Lydia was pleasant - both were so quick and readily happy to help me settle. It's definitely a place I'd be glad to go back to, plus recommend to others.

A very lovely stay. Easily accessible from the road and very peaceful and quiet. Also the host was really lovely, I had a smooth check in, stay and check out. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Meru.

Our Stay was absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful, cosy and clean and the garden was lovely to bask on a sunny day. The host was very welcoming and always on standby for anything that was needed. We shall definitely come back. Judy
