Our stay at Luís's place was unbeatable. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is not missing any detail and it is all as and how it is shown in the pictures. We enjoyed a lot of the pool and the good weather. Luís is a 10 host, very attentive, willing and friendly. We will definitely come back and do not hesitate to recommend it! Thank you very much for everything Luís.

There are accommodations that leave a mark. This is one of them. Starting with the warm welcome from the owners who welcomed us in person. They explained everything. The house is beautiful and comfortable. A house that has been in the family for 200 years but renovated and very well preserved. Exquisite decoration of precious family objects. A beautiful swimming pool and diverse spaces to enjoy the house. The pool room is a spectacle. The chapel is a beautiful surprise. In addition, the orchard and the garden with various fruits and vegetables give that feeling of being able to feed yourself naturally. The tours and trails around the extensive property allow us to have healthy moments. In addition to the sheep, chickens and rabbits that are part of the countryside experience. A cozy space to have comfort among friends and connect with the tranquility of nature. We intend to return.

Everything perfect, great quick host to answer and clarify all doubts, during the stay she was very attentive (booking in the restaurant to eat, giving us coffee capsules etc.). The house is equipped with everything you'll need. Fantastic pool. Very large farm, our dog also really enjoyed it. Highly recommended, if we come back to the area someday.

Everything is perfect. The house is as in the photos, attentive to our arrival, delicious breakfast. An area worth checking out. 100% recommended

The place is very nice, the house is very nice, comfortable, spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were very comfortable. The only thing I could say is that it would be good to have shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom, even if it's just for the first day. But, we talked to the host and he solved the problem immediately and kindly, which is to be thanked. In short, we would not hesitate to return.

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

Maria Helena's house was a real discovery for our family. Finding the house can be a bit tricky, but you need to follow the directions provided. It's like a family museum. Maria Helena's family history has been ingeniously preserved here - her grandfather bought the house, and she herself was born in this house. Impressive old furniture, a collection of dishes, family photos - you can feel the authentic spirit of the Douro locals. The house was very clean, and there was absolutely everything you could need for a long stay. We were greeted with port wine and cherries grown by the neighbors. The surroundings of the house are no less impressive: stunning views from all the windows of the house to the Douro Valley, a huge courtyard for breakfast, dinner, or sitting with wine or tea. During the day, you can sunbathe or read a book in the shade in the courtyard of the house. We couldn't imagine a better place to get to know the Douro Valley than Maria Helena's house.

Beautiful view and fantastic pool. House a little older but retains quality. Felipe was fantastic from the booking until the checkout time. I highly recommend!

Susana’s place is an idyllic countryside retreat that is full of Portuguese tradition and authenticity. Susana can’t do enough for her guests, including sharing local produce from her garden. The villa is very well equipped and spacious, and the gardens and pool area are immaculate. There is access to the highlights of the Douro valley close by. We had a wonderful, relaxing break here and would fully recommend it.

Very spacious house, very well-equipped and very friendly, ideal for a stay with family and teenagers who can have their space. Dedicated parking at the house, nearby. Great welcome and cool drinks on arrival. For swimming, municipal swimming pool and river accessible by car (to the left of the bridge, opposite the picnic area)

The accommodation with Nuno and his wife was very relaxed and just the place to visit postage and Lisbon. The apartment was warm and cozy and the wine bar in the farm very welcoming! The two gave us valuable tips about lamego and provided us with fresh rolls in the morning. We had a great time with very hospitable owners and are happy to recommend it

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped cabin for two, with or without a couple of kids, in a spectacular location with access to a nice swimming pool. Very recommendable.

We spent 10 days at Quinta De Nadais in early August. The climate is perfect - hot during the day, cooler at night. Surrounded by an abundance of fruit trees and vegetables which you are free to eat, this quiet working farm offers a rustic retreat up in the hills above the river Douro. The large house is comfortable and spotless, with great facilities. The pool is surrounded by a lush lawn on the hillside with magnificent views over the valley. Adjacent to the property, and sharing the driveway, is another small property whose single inhabitant is pleasant and quiet. We were given a massive amount of fruit and veg from the farm which was delicious. Local supermarkets offer a good selection of fresh fish, meat and vegetables. We cooked at the property most nights and ate outside overlooking the pool and valley - hard to beat the view at any restaurant. Our host was wonderful, attentive and helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. A fantastic holiday. Thanks!

Ideal space for large groups. I went with family (mother, brothers, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, plus nephews). Very large house with many rooms. The area of the bedrooms and bath house (1stfloor) is separate from the kitchen area and dining/living area (r/ch), here there is also the pool and garden area. The garden has a lot of shade. The house is still a little far from Régua to walk, but nearby there is a supermarket that can be reached on foot, if you feel like taking a walk uphill on the way back. The view of the Douro and vineyards is beautiful. Ms. Maria Antonia is so friendly and helpful.

We highly recommend this Airbnb! It’s an absolutely beautiful apartment, with fantastic views of the Douro river valley. The family makes you feel at home, and is very responsive. The wine from their winery is delicious. They recommended fantastic restaurants. We learned so much about the Douro valley from their family and couldn’t have picked a better way to start our Portugal adventure.

The view and grounds were much more stunning than we imagined ! So lush and peaceful with many places one could relax. Elda and her family took excellent care of us and were very kind . We really enjoyed the wine tour we did with Vasco who was an educational guide and took us through the countryside to 2 vineyards with complimentary experiences. The wine the Quinta produces is also excellent and the tour on their grounds interesting , led by the winemaker Diogo. We were there for 3 nights , chose to relax there and not drive . Jose arranged taxi pickup at the train station 15 min away , and with the vineyard tour we were able to see a lot of the beauty of the Douro valley . We used the charcoal /wood fuelled Bbq and sat in the quiet nature under the gazebo with a glorious view . Definitely recommend this Quinta !

Carol was an amazing host with great suggestions to local restaurants and amenities, the house was super clean and had everything needed for our stay. My only slight negative is that the 5th bedroom wasn’t really suitable for an adult as it was a low ceiling height loft bedroom with small beds and without a door. Again thank you for our stay and we’d love to come back again in the future!

Alfredo's place was fantastic! We'd actually say it's even better than the photos suggest. We found the trains to actually be a highlight, so not sure why other reviews said otherwise, they're really infrequent! Alfredo and Luis are brilliant hosts - communication is timely and helpful and they even gave us some extra tips for taxis etc. which were also incredibly helpful. Looking forward to visiting again!

Our stay at Cristina's went very well. We were in a real paradise. The location is wonderful with the bird 's-eye view of the Douro. Each outdoor space is very well laid out. The equipment in the house is very complete. Nela who greeted us is very available. She was there to pick up and take our luggage to the villa when we arrived. She had prepared us for the first morning a great breakfast. Cristina our host is very responsive with every request. We had a great week with our family. We recommend this place for a stay for families or groups of friends.

We enjoyed the stay very much. Very friendly and helpful guests. 5 star Check in. We were a group of 8 and we enjoyed the house being isolated because we didn't have to worry about the noise. However, the house is difficult to access having to pass through narrow and dirt streets. There was heating in the house, which was necessary since it is very cold in that area when it is not sunny. Kitchen equipped with toaster, toaster, microwave, magic wand, refrigerators (oven didn't work). There was no tablecloth, only 4 singles that weren't enough for the 8. Bath towels, blankets, sheets and pillows were provided for 8. We really like the pool. It goes up to 2 meters and such of sufficient depth and great for everyone. In general, we had a good experience and recommend this home to those who want to be more isolated from the city.
