We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the beautiful little hamlet. Cottage has got everything you need and king size bed is the most comfiest you would find anywhere. We got a lot of walking and cycle routes right next tonthe cottage. Newcastle City and Durham City is about 15 minutes from the property. Local shop and pub is on the walking distance along with some lovely restaurants not more then 5 minutes drive away. Contractors and long discounts available

We had a very accommodating stay! The host was extremely kind and responsive—when we had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, she was happy to come over and did her best to help. While the Wi-Fi didn’t work well in the front room, she made every effort to resolve the issue. She also kindly moved us to another apartment so my daughter and I could have more space, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great stay and she was a wonderful host!

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Paddock. It’s in a very central position to explore beautiful Northumbria while being in a quiet and peaceful location in the countryside. Our host Maureen was very friendly and helpful. The Paddock was clean, decorated beautifully and suited us very well. There were a few kitchen items which Maureen provided when we asked for them. Really nice cosy cottage, perfect size for the two of us and even though it is attached to the pub there isn't extra noise because of that. Had a delicious meal at the pub on the Saturday night for our anniversary. A bonus would have been if there had been some bubble bath included for the lovely big bath upstairs, but overall a lovely weekend spent here.

This is an outstanding place, I have used many AirB&B’s but this was exceptional. Sue let us use the garage for our motorbikes which was fantastic. Sue has been exceptional through out the booking and stay. The house is beautiful, very well set out, very clean and spacious.

This is a fantastic property, that is beautifully furnished throughout and makes you feel at home right away. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely private courtyard garden which is a sun trap if you’re lucky to have the weather we did. Ideal location for beaches and only a short walk to pubs/restaurants & cafes etc. On street parking easy, no issues getting parked outside property.
