Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

What an amazing house, dog friendly, too! Perfect location for our family wedding. Frances was most helpful and very accommodating. Will stay again next time we visit family in Holmbridge.

Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. We stayed for a wedding that was happening locally in Marsden. Flexible check-in made it nice and easy to drop our bags and get dressed before heading into Marsden. Taxi back from Marsden was only £7 and we walked back in the next day to get our car with a pavement running all the way into town. Accommodation was spotless, bed was comfy, shower was hot and powerful. Complimentary coffee and tea. Couldn’t find fault at all. We opted for breakfast the next morning at £15 per person. Included full English, toast & jams, tea/coffee and juice. Was very well cooked. Thank you 😀

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had every little touch that made it feel like a home away from home — and even breakfast included, we felt truly welcomed. It’s clear the host genuinely cares about their guests’ comfort and experience. I can’t recommend this place and this host enough. We had a great one night stay here. Jane made us feel right at home from the moment we walked through the door. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll be sure to come back.

Really nice canalside location, great vibe inside. Andrew was a cracking host, and the breakfast was lovely, he was happy to cater for vegetarians. Comfy bed, great shower, and a formidable library of books for your pleasure. Lovely bloke, lovely place, will definitely visit again.

I really enjoyed my stay! Angela was very welcoming and friendly, and had great recommendations for my stay. The place was beautiful and was a good base for some amazing hikes.

We had such a lovely stay here. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Tricia and Andrew are perfect hosts. I had a wonderful time staying with Karen and Phil.They were so friendly and helpful.The house was beautiful and the bedroom was extremely comfortable,it was stocked with many items to make a stay even more special.The breakfast was excellent and all in all it was a fabulous place to stay,thank you very much Karen and Phil,I hope to come and stay another time.

We had a wonderful time staying in Hebden Bridge. Manya and her husband were so friendly and accommodating! The house is beautiful and our room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast prepared for us was super tasty! The location was perfect and easy to find. If we ever stay in the area again we will definitely come back to this b&b, and recommend to friends too!☺️

This was the perfect stay for a local wedding - the hosts were the friendliest and most accommodating of our arrival, plans and all requests we had during our stay. Would give 6 stars 🌟 for the hosts if this was possible as they couldn’t have been more friendly welcoming. The bacon sandwiches for breakfast were spot on and the bar in the pub was incredibly welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable as well. Great stay

The hosts were lovely. Very accommodating and couldn’t do enough to make our stay there comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we couldn’t fault them. Great location for access to local wedding venues. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan! Di was super helpful and responsive, the room itself was lovely, very clean, full of amenities and bed super comfy. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the pub, they were even able to accommodate for my gluten allergy which I was grateful for. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ☺️

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.
