Apartment holiday rentals in Metropolitan City of Florence

Massimiliano’s place was incredible. Quite a few stairs up to the apartment (but is the same as all stays in the region). The view from the balcony is unbelievably worth it and the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed a night up there with local wine and the sunset. The bedrooms were quite spacious with room for suitcases to remain open, and shared spaces throughout the apartment were generous enough for the small time spent inside. Thank you Max!

This was our last AirBnB on a two-week trip and one of our two favorites. Location was priceless. It was very easy to walk everywhere, yet it was quiet and peaceful. The host was outstanding and communicated easily . We also arrived quite late and the directions to get inside were easy and it was not a problem to let ourselves in. The only thing to note for others is they say "second floor" but that is after one flight from street to first floor. Considering bags and any physical restrictions, it should be regarded as "three full flights of stairs" to climb. This was not easy for one of us with bags, so worth noting if this impacts you at all.

Nice place to stay near the Duomo. Close to the Train Station too, which makes it really convenient. It looks just like the pictures, nice bedroom and bathroom. Felt really safe and at home!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was good, in easy walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and bars for aperitif. It is on the other side of the river from the typical tourist destinations like the David and the Uffizi, but because Florence is so easily walkable, it only took about 20 minutes to walk to any of those areas. This side of the river is definitely quieter, but still has plenty to do (including the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which are not to be missed)! As far as communication, it was absolutely top notch. We had an issue where the handle on the water faucet in the kitchen broke on Sunday, and the host was extremely quick to respond, and had a plumber out to fix the problem in under an hour. We were shocked and impressed, particularly given it was a weekend. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. The A/C in the living room is very good, but the bedroom could get a bit hot at night. Still we would return!

Perfect apartment with a great host. Giorgio responds super fast and was extremely helpful before, and on arrival. The apartment itself has everything you could want or need. And it was pleasant even while it was more than 35 degrees outside. It was also spotlessly clean and in a great location. Would love to stay here again when visiting Florence.

A fabulous apartment with a super historic. I highly recommend this very modern clean and spacious apartment. I was genuinely sorry to leave and will certainly book with Dan again should I return to Florence in the future. I can’t say enough positive things about Gherardo’s apartment. It truly was one of the best AirBnb’s we have stayed in. The space itself is wonderful and the location couldn’t be better. We were so close to everything and the neighborhood is so walkable. The apartment is newly renovated and Gherardo has taken care of every last detail to make his guests feel welcome and at home. We appreciated that he was there to personally greet us and acquaint us with the apartment and the area. Don’t hesitate to book with Gherardo. We will stay again in a heartbeat!

A fabulous apartment which was contemporary and chic. Located a few steps from the Duomo, the location cannot be beaten. Plus, there is a fabulous terrace to enjoy Florence's breathtaking rooftop views. Our host Luca was the finest host I have ever experienced on AirBnB. Helpful and clear instructions plus lots of local restaurant recommendations. I really cannot fault this apartment and host and highly recommend for your next stay in Firenze.

Loved this place for many reasons. Having the Doumo staring at you is something else. Having a 1 1/2 bath was a perk that's underrated. The place is spotless and everything works. My wife and I slept well in the bed so no complaints there. Protip: There is a light switch near the entrance you need to switch otherwise you need your phone lamp in the stairs. If I came back to Florence I would stay with Edoardo again.

We loved our stay in this perfectly located apartment in the heart of Florence, just steps from the Mercato Centrale and all the must-see sights. The apartment was clean, cosy, and cool – an oasis after a day of exploring the city’s rich history and famous food culture. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and felt like a home away from home. Sabrina was a wonderful host, full of great tips and local recommendations that made our visit even more special. We can’t wait to come back!

This was the perfect place to stay! Just minutes to the bridge leading to city center along with some fun spots right outside the door. Lots of steps but WORTH IT! The view from the terrace was great and the apartment itself was better than we could’ve asked for! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone else planning a trip to Florence!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Florence! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and had that authentic Italian charm you dream about—wooden beams, warm terracotta floors, and a tiny Juliet balcony overlooking the rooftops. Pure magic. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the Duomo, the Uffizi, and the Ponte Vecchio. Yet somehow, it felt tucked away and peaceful, like a local secret. We could pop out for a morning espresso and be back before the croissants cooled down. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat like a Florentine (pro tip: skip the tourist traps near the piazzas and follow their suggestions—you won’t regret it!). Absolutely gorgeous views overlooking the river from the bedroom suite. The location is walkable to all the main attractions of the city (Florence is relatively small!), and coming back to this BnB after long days of sightseeing was a joy. Would absolutely stay again if back in the area.

Everything was great! Perfect location away from the crowds. But definitely recommend for families.

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

I really loved staying in this apartment. It was clean and beautiful. It was also right in the center of everything, but not in a way that was loud or crazy. It was decorated beautifully, and it had everything we needed. I thought it was a great deal. I absolutely recommend it, and I will definitely try to stay here again if I go back to Florence.

We really enjoyed our stay in this flat. The house was clear, the neighbourhood was peaceful and the hosts were very helpful. A true gem in the centre of Florence. If you want to live a luxury experience in Florence, I highly recommend this place.

A huge thanks to Rosella for hosting us in her amazing apartment. Very central location within walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and many local attractions. The private terrace with the Palazzo Vecchio overlooking was perfect for breakfast or late evening watching the sun set with a few drinks. The apartment was spotless clean and very much as described. We were met by our very friendly host at the apartment whom welcomed and showed us around the apartment. We stayed as two couples and a perfect place to stay - I would very much recommend Rosella and her apartment.

Massimiliano takes pride in his home and history and goes above and beyond to welcome you. We felt right at home, beds were comfortable and large bathrooms were a plus. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook but it appeared well stocked. The location is very nice, safe, easily reachable by bus and walkable to all major sites. We enjoyed our stay and we enjoyed the authenticity of Massimiliano’s home and beautiful city.

Apartment as described. Very clean and comfortable. The center is a 10-minute walk away. Always top-notch and very kind communication. When I return to Florence, if there is the possibility, I will return to this apartment.

Friendly & super responsive host. Loved the Italian architecture of the building, but comfortable within the renovated interiors of the unit. Stayed in Time room with seniors & a child, had all necessary amenities. Great location, far enough from the chaos yet close to the main square & train station.

Martina's place was a great rental in central Florence. Close enough to walk to major landmarks and the central train station. The place has everything you need and more. We were met by Martina and her friendly dog on arrival. She is very friendly and hospitable and took her time to show us her home and give us lots of information on the area and suggestions. I would recommend this rental to everyone!

We loved our stay here. Right next to the Duomo and close to everything in Florence making it super easy to get around. Loved the inside of the apartment too and was overall amazing. Silvia was very helpful and great!
