Holiday rentals with breakfast in Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

Didina è stata un host veramente disponibile e cordiale, anche l’accoglienza della figlia. La stanza confortevole fornita di tutte le cose necessarie, letto comodissimo, e una pulizia veramente eccezionale. Curato tutto nei minimi dettagli, ed una posizione veramente strategica. Wir waren zu dritt für 1 1/2 Tagw dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Es war sauber und größer als man auf den Bildern erkennen kann. Zu Fuß brauch man ca 20 Minuten zum Stein Strand und in die Stadt ca 10 Minuten. Für uns war es nur ein bisschen schwer Restaurants zu finden aber sonst war alles gut. Stefania ist sehr lieb und super zu erreichen. Einen Shuttle zum Flughafen haben wir auch zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Danke!

Das Haus ist geräumig und blitzsauber. Die Möbel sind neu. Das Haus und die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Gaetano Pio können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, war die Lage. Man benötigt ein Auto (Das Zentrum von Reggio ist 15 Minuten entfernt, Scilla 10 Minuten ). Es gibt keine schöne Gegend zum Spazierengehen. Der öffentliche Strand ist vermüllt, genauso wie die meisten Straßen dieses Ortes. Es gibt aber ein paar Strandbäder, die man bezahlen muss. Dort sah es sauber aus.

A beautiful apartment within walking distance to the beach. Apartment is pristine and modern with a lovely variety of breakfast pastries, toasts, jams etc. Host is very friendly and helpful and also flexible with check in. One can catch a train to Reggio Di Calabria for €1.40 to see various attractions and lovely restaurants. The Eurospin supermarket is about a 15 min walk from the apartment for those who prefer to cook their own meals. Would definitely recommend this apartment. Alles super soweit, ich konnte auf dem Bett nicht perfekt schlafen aber das mag auch an mir gelegen haben. Würde wieder kommen.

Lovely place close to parking! Host is wonderful!

Giovanni è stato un host perfetto, sempre gentile, disponibile e simpatico. La cena preparata da Caterina è stata superlativa. Spero di riuscire a tornare l’anno prossimo a Gallicianò e ovviamente tornerò in questa struttura! Gallicianò è il paese ideale se si cerca tranquillità, buon cibo, se si vuole godere dello spettacolo delle montagne dell’Aspromonte e nello stesso tempo sentire parlare il greco di Omero, che gli abitanti ancora parlano.

L’appartement de Valeria est idéalement situé, dans un quartier calme, et proche du centre ville et des commerces. Bien qu’absente car en vacances, Valeria a été très présente pour que ma fille et moi puissions passer une semaine agréable. Nous avons pu communiquer par internet tout au long du séjour, qu’elle en soit remerciée. Valeria est une hôte à recommander. Jean-Pierre et Lisa

Great deal! Beach front, walking distance from the beach and from restaurant + utility shop. The house was perfect, felt at home right away. Ezio is really kind and ready to help if need plus the apartment has literally everything!

Appartamento corrispondente alla descrizione, completo di tutto l'occorrente per un soggiorno vacanza. Alessandra si è dimostrata disponibile e cordiale nella comunicazione. Ottima la posizione vicino all'ascensore che permette di raggiungere comodamente la spiaggia. Per parcheggiare bisogna trovare posto nelle strade adiacenti. Consigliato.

Auf unserer Rundreise verbrachten wir 1 Nacht in Simonas Apartment. Bei der Ankunft erwarteten uns Getränke im Kühlschrank und ein Sideboard mit Kaffeemaschine und diversen Leckereien fürs Frühstück. Das Apartment ist modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber, es ist auch super ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit Simona ist sehr angenehm, sie antwortete immer schnell und ist hilfsbereit und flexibel beim Check-in. Es gibt auch einen Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück, direkt vor der Türe. Sehr praktisch um das Gepäck aus- und wieder einzuladen. Danke Simona, wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn uns eine Reise wieder in die Gegend bringt.

The penthouse was very impressive as described by owners. Plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy the amazing castle in the distance. Unfortunately, we were early in the season and the A/C and Cable were not turned on.

L’appartamento di Tecla Apartment in centro a Reggio Calabria è una location deliziosa, ben posizionata in centro città, ristrutturata con molto gusto e dotata di tutte le comodità. Alessandro è stato di grande gentilezza e disponibilità, ho apprezzato moltissimo l’accoglienza. L’appartamento è spazioso e consente anche a più persone di alloggiare comodamente. Consigliatissimo!

Siamo stati molto bene. L’appartamento è luminoso e solare. Letto confortevole. Buona posizione. Sabina molto gentile e disponibile.

We came to Casa Lagana as a family of 4 (with 2 children). We were not sure what to expect, so were open minded. Great location, walk distance to several places, including the train station, port and the local beach and big promenade. The hosts are very good and extremely accommodating. We wanted to have an experience of a "family feel" and that's exactly what we got. Accommodation may need little updating in places but really doesn't affect much the use. You can easily get past that. Breakfast is good and varied with fresh pastries that kids loved. There is table tennis, some games, racquetes and other bits that Steeve has kindly lent us to use. The terrace for me is one of the best parts of the "Casa" and definitely good in Summer 🏝️🌞. Thank you very much Steeve and team for making our stay enjoyable and for all the great recommendations and for looking after us. All the best from all of us 🙏❤️

Easy to find and the instructions were really clear and useful. the b&b is gorgeous and well decorated. The flexible check in was great for us given that out flight was so late into Reggio. had a great night's sleep! little breakfast items in the kitchen were great too. Antonia was really helpful with our booking and responsive

We had a great stay at Alessandra‘s! She and her husband Pietro are lovely hosts, they invited us several times to their place for a coffee/drink, we had great chats with them and they gave us useful information and recommendations for the area. We also made a very interesting tour with Pietro who is also an official guide of the Asperomonte National Park. Alessandra was very swift in communication and flexible for our check in time. The room we had is small but has a little fridge and balcony with a nice view, breakfast was very good (juices, water, joghurts, fruits, toasts, jam, coffee, tea etc.) and the terrace to have breakfast has a beautiful view over a part of Bova, the sea and the mountains. We would definitely recommend staying at Alessandra‘s!

Salvatore è una persona estremamente amichevole e preparata. Ha ascoltato le mie esigenze e mi ha fatto sentire a casa dall'inizio alla fine del mio soggiorno. Non ha lesinato una cialda di caffè in più e mi ha aiutato anche dopo l'orario di check out fornendomi accesso a Internet per lavorare e per il check in dell'aereo. Mi ha dato consigli molto utili per raggiungere la festa di Polistena e l'Istituto Tecnico per il concorso. La stanza era pulita, abbastanza silenziosa, dotata di ottimo impianto di aria condizionata. La scrivania era adatta alle mie esigenze. Ottima l'idea di fornire la macchina da caffè in stanza, microonde e frigobar con l'acqua. Mi sono sentito a casa mia, sono grato a Salvatore per la sua gentilezza e professionalità.

Tina is a fantastic host. She doesn’t let language barriers stop her from being kind, helpful and proactive. She stayed up and waited for us to arrive from our late flight, and also arranged the taxi to and from, despite the hours of our flights. The place itself is in a fantastic location, with the entirety of Reggio Calabria walkable from the flat. It can be quite loud due to the surrounding bars below the apartment, but we didn’t mind that at all. Tina has discount vouchers for some restaurants as well, and she’ll give you them and recommend places. Overall a fantastic stay with a lovely host, clean room and bathroom, breakfast provided, in a fantastic city.

And ideal little room 5 minutes away from everything. It ain't the Ritz, but it is cheap, welcoming and well-kept. Overall a a good rest spot for travellers. I would recommend.

Very nice place. The room is small, but clean and very cozy (everything is like in the photo). There is a small balcony, from which you can see the sea. Location 200 meters to the sea and promenade, 10 meters to the central street. Cafes, bars, restaurants are all nearby. Upon arrival, I received exact instructions. The host is very attentive and friendly. I will recommend this place to my friends and acquaintances. The noise on the street at night was a little disturbing - this is the life of the night city.
