Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mézidon Vallée d'Auge

Emilie's cottage was delightful and the gardens are just stunning. We had a wonderful time and really appreciated the little touches like the homemade apple juice. Our dog loved exploring the grounds and it was very relaxing watching the horses and wildlife from the garden. We would definitely return , it was an idyllic retreat!

Très belle petite maison, très cosy, idéalement située pour découvrir la région entre Étretat et Cabourg. A 10 minutes du centre de Honfleur, ce qui permet de bénéficier de l'activité estivale et des restaurants tout en étant un peu retiré sur les hauteurs pour des nuits calmes et rafraichies dans la verdure quand il fait chaud. Le terrain assez grand et parfaitement clos pour nos amis les chiens. Possibilité de s'y reposer, déjeuner, diner barbecuter en terrasse. Hôtes très prévenants et flexibles.

We hadden een geweldige week in het huis! De locatie is heel stil en mooi. Het huis is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Fijn dat er zoveel aanwezig is. De gastvrijheid van Fabrice en Nathalie is hartverwarmend. Het huis is sfeervol, goed ingericht, en de JBL-box is erg fijn (ik had mijn eigen dus niet nodig). De tuin is groot en mooi. Met het mooie weer was het leuk om de planten water te geven. De bbq en vuurschaal waren sfeerverhogers. De bedden waren wat smal, maar geen probleem. Het huis is erg de moeite waard en niet duur voor een heel gezin.

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

Beautiful property in a stunning setting, perfect for our week of touring the Normandy landings. Claire is very helpful and the property is even better than in the pictures.

What a perfect stay we have had, truely outstanding. The cottage was so pretty, clean and beautifully furnished. The location was excellent for exploring the vast history and beautiful Normandy countryside. Rodolphe and his family were extremely welcoming, friendly and on hand to offer any help or recommendations. We really enjoyed every minute and would love to return next year. Highly recommend. The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Merci à Magda et Jean-Nicholas pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur flexibilité, et leur confiance. C'est le deuxième séjour à leur appartement, et je savais que je n'aurai aucun problème majeur pendant mon séjour au Havre. Le lieu est très bien situé pas loin du centre de la ville mais aussi de la plage. C'est un quartier très calme et paisible. Aucun problème avec la literie, la cuisine, et le salon: tout est propre et bien organisé. A la prochaine !

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Il n’est pas facile de trouver un logement pour une réunion de famille ou amis. Ici tout y est. Nombre de chambres et lits, équipements de loisirs pour les petits et les grands, vaisselle sièges eux tout en nombre pour un grand groupe. C’est propre. Ma jardin est joli , comme la maison. Merci encore pour ce week-end !

We voelde ons direct welkom in dit typische Franse verblijf, overal was aangedacht van een Haard die klaar stond om te ontsteken tot een gedekte tafel met een heerlijke chocolade taart! Naast elk bed stond een flesje water met een Madeleine voor de nachtelijke trek. Wel hangen er door heel het huis briefjes met instructies, maar wanneer iemand gewoon normen en waarde kent zijn de reglementen vrij logisch. Misschien een tip om deze regels te bundelen en op de gedekte eettafel te presenteren zodat alles gelijk duidelijk is ipv door heel het huis. Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in dit pittoreske Franse huis.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!

Eric e Alexandra sono stati degli host fantastici, gentilissimi e molto disponibili. La casa è esattamente come in foto, se non meglio, pulita, accogliente e attrezzata per passare uno splendido weekend in famiglia o con amici. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Maison superbe avec vue tout aussi superbe. Les 4 chambres de la maison principale sont très bien décorées avec une literie confortable et chacune dotée d’une salle de bains. La 5 e chambre est dans un bâtiment mitoyen indépendant, ce qui n’était pas précisé dans l’annonce ni en accord avec les photos . La cuisine le lave vaisselle le salon etc ne sont pas vraiment dimensionnés pour accueillir jusque 10 personnes. Le jardin est très beau avec un accès direct à la plage Très bon séjour ! Nous recommandons vivement !

Stunning villa and has everything you need. The space is even nicer in person and hosts were very nice and flexible. Bring your own coffee and coffee filters though and towels :)
