Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mézidon Vallée d'Auge

A perfect stay with the family! The house is nestled at the end of a small path, surrounded by nature, on a large and beautiful lot. We were immediately charmed by the calm and beauty of the place. The bedding is excellent, everyone slept very well. The interior is cozy and well thought out, and the different terraces allowed us to soak up the sun at every moment of the day. The kids loved the garden, and the hiking trail right next door is great for a leisurely walk in the forest. A refreshing break, we already want to come back.

We had a great week at the house! The location is very quiet and beautiful. The house is provided with everything you might need. I'm glad there's so much. Fabrice and Nathalie's hospitality is heartwarming. The house is cozy, well furnished, and the JBL box is very nice (so I didn't need my own). The garden is big and beautiful. With the nice weather, it was nice to water the plants. The bbq and fire bowl were atmosphere hooks. The beds were a bit narrow but not a problem. The house is very worth it and not expensive for a whole family.

Very good weekend in this very pleasant Normandy farmhouse. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation offered is in line with expectations, faithful to the photo and very clean. The playroom delighted our 2-year-old daughter; she also enjoyed the garden and the discovery of the cows that stay in the adjacent meadow. I highly recommend this accommodation if you want peace and quiet and to disconnect.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

It is a lovely cottage, surrounded by greenery. We were there around New Year and were surprised that the cows also visited us during this time. Contact with the host was pleasant and she responds quickly to messages. It was a warm welcome as the fireplace was already burning when we arrived. Very nice! Positive points: you can enter with a key box, lovely beds and good sofa to sit on, fireplace worked well and plenty of other heat sources. Extensive inventory in kitchen, bathroom, games etc. Quiet location (also with Old and new because of the dog), nice village a 10-minute walk away with bakery, butcher and mini supermarket. To walk the dog we went to a beach a 30 minute drive away. We got the impression that there are not many opportunities for hiking in the immediate vicinity, but we did not ask for this. Maybe it's there but we didn't find it. In short: Very satisfied!

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

The hacienda is really well decorated, spacious, identical to the photos. the apartment is clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. The patio is a big +++++. Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Beautiful property in an amazing location and very professional hosting.

It is not easy to find accommodation for a family or friends reunion. Everything is there here. Number of rooms and beds, leisure facilities for children and adults, crockery, seats all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

the pluses: Comfortable house very well located and perfectly quiet. Quick access to the beach allows beautiful walks and also arrival in Honfleur by the estuary. The two terraces are ideal for meals for 7/8 people, the large lot is perfectly enclosed and safe for children and dogs even small. The fairly busy road along the land does not cause any disturbance. Depending on the direction of the wind, you can be slightly confused by the sound of Le Havre flares (on the other side )or the passage of a few big boats that make the show! the -: if the kitchen is perfectly equipped in terms of appliances, it is however missing two or three fundamental utensils such as the oven dish exit handles and large service knives. The operation of the living room lighting remained a mystery to us! (untimely outages). Overall, the service is as described quiet and comfortable.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!

Stunning villa and has everything you need. The space is even nicer in person and hosts were very nice and flexible. Bring your own coffee and coffee filters though and towels :)
