Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mid North Coast

We had a flying visit to Crescent Head with the family and Tim and Wendy’s place was perfect. Located two minutes from anywhere in Cressie. Views were breathtaking in the morning, as we arrived late at night we didn’t notice/ see. Thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable and relaxing. The shower was nice and hot and I loved the heat lamp, being from Queensland I appreciated it.

Our stay at this beautiful home was incredible. The views of the bush and lake are amazing, and all the rooms of the house were stunning. You feel super secluded but with everything close by. Ken was great with communication.

We loved our stay at your beautiful home - so eclectic, gorgeous gardens, so relaxing with the wrap around verandah and day beds, and the magic bush track down to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything so thoughtfully presented … a relaxing home away from home! Our little dog Cliffy absolutely loved his time there too … lots to explore in the fully fenced garden, and he loved his daily beach adventures. Thank you Evelyn & Kerry for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back and stay longer next time.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

My only criticism of our stay, was that it wasn’t long enough! This gorgeous property was an absolute delight - perfectly positioned close to all the amenity you could wish for, while still offering a quiet and peaceful retreat, and a spacious and secure outdoor area for furry guests. Ben was a delight to communicate with - we hope to be back again soon (this time for a few nights).

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. I guess the the only part that we didn't like was leaving 😞. Many thanks Bev until next time 😊

Robert's place is really delightful, perched high on the western hill of Dungog only 10 minutes walk from the main street and with a perfect east/north aspect and view over the valley. Waking to thousands of birds in the dawn chorus with the low sun pouring in and the mist-laden valley below was way better than expected. Being a fellow bird lover i felt right at home, and the slow combustion stove meant the house was as warm as you could want on a cold Winter's night and morning.

Our family love it. Worth to travel cause we planed to stay down Newcastle or Terrigal but last minute and we decide to drive up…. spectacular view of sunrise. Step to the beach, wish we can come back when it is warmer Clean and spaces rooms. and Graeme was great host and response on time.

Beautiful big apartment. Reminded me a bit of an old Queenslander with mod cons. Lots of charm. Wish we could of stayed longer.

What a quirky and gorgeous place to stay. I highly recommend it. Stunning views and I loved being surrounded by the wildlife and vineyards. I’d love to come back.

Beautifully presented accommodation, perfect for a quite beach getaway. Location overlooking the sand dunes and surf was magical. We were able to walk everywhere…. Wooli Wooli Cafe for great coffee, the bowls club for yummy Chinese dinner and the Wooli Boat hire for a couple of hours cruising Wooli Wooli River. We felt very at home in your gorgeous beach getaway Sally. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Jennie’s room had everything we needed in a great cosy package. A great host who responded quickly to our queries. Great location just a short walk to the main hub of Bellingen.

Needing somewhere to stay while working in the area & wow what a find! I couldn’t wait to finish work and get back to enjoy this place. Bonus having a beautiful dog greeting. Hosts are down to earth great people and make ya feel at home while also giving you privacy. I absolutely loved the uniqueness & detail and all the comforts of home plus more!

Very happy with our stay at Blueys Beach. Dean was very communicative and we felt we could reach out to him if there were any concerns. We would definitely like to return for another visit.

We loved the Bond House apartment. Despite the unusual access across the park it was well worth it once inside. Eclectic stylishly furnished spacious apartment well located for East Newcastle. A well stocked larder and great laundry space if you need it. Bathrooms very modern with heated towel rails and big fluffy towels! Beds very comfy too

My family and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at our villa. The views of the mountain ranges were absolutely stunning! Weekenda team were very helpful throughout our stay. Definitely book this place in the future. SS 😊

This was a last minute find for us but it was just amazing. There were 3 ensuites and 1 main bathroom which made the stay for 4 of us couples with kids amazing. The living space was huge with a very comfortable couch, I only wish the TV was a bit bigger. The outdoor areas are well equipped with sufficient seating and spots to relax and enjoy. The house was clean however had a few cobwebs underneath dining chairs and some really big spiders roaming about but other than that it was spotless.

Matt’s place was incredible. We stayed there for 2 nights for a girls weekend getaway. We loved the property so much that we skipped some of our scheduled wine tastings to sit around the cozy fireplace, watch the spectacular sunsets and enjoy the 360 degree views from every angle. This property has everything you could need, including very clearly labeled instructions for how to use the various appliances/speakers/fireplace etc. The kitchen is completely stocked, there’s no shortage of cleaning supplies, firewood, tea, coffee, and everything you need to make your stay a memorable and seamless one. Matt was very responsive, helpful, and a joy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend Among The Vines more highly. If I could give this more than five stars, I would. Gorgeous spot for a getaway from the city. Close to everything in the Hunter, but well away from everything and everyone. Super easy to find and get there, check-in/out was a breeze. All the information you need is provided. Great amenities especially in the kitchen. Accomodation is a beautiful space indoors and out. Amazing afternoon walks around the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great peaceful place to stay in beauty surroundings. Nice cozy fireplace watching wildlife outside. Very relaxing.

By far the best air bnb i’ve ever stayed at. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The location was beautiful and comfortable. Will definitely be back soon!
