Ruggård is an old farm, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal, only 18 km from Kolding, Vejle and Billund (Legoland). Here you have the optimal starting point for trips in the most beautiful Danish nature. The area offers hiking trails and cycling and horseback riding routes. There are many excursion options, but also time to stay on the farm. Children LOVE being here. Here, outdoor life is prioritized and therefore there is no TV in the home (parents thank us). Undisturbed location on a south-facing slope with a large enclosed wooden terrace, private beach and bridge. Possibility of fishing, swimming and hiking in nature. Located 5 km from Middelfart and the Funen highway. The beach cottage was newly renovated in 2022 with a simple and functional decor. The style is bright and maritime, and although the cottage is small, there is plenty of room for 2 people and possibly also a small dog.

Faurskov Mølle - Private apartment

Faurskov Mølle is located in the beautiful Brende Aadal - one of the most scenic areas on Funen. The area invites you to hike in forests and meadows. Likewise, the Funen fishing waters are within a short driving distance and Barløse Golf for a round, can be reached possibly by bike. Faurskov Mill is an old watermill with one of Denmark's largest mill wheels, diameter (6.40 m). There was originally a grain mill, which was later changed to a wool spinning mill. The mill has not been running since the 1920s.

Apartment near Middelfart and the beach, with wellness amenities

We have a lovely apartment connected with our farm, close to Vejlby Fed beach. It is 60 m2 and has a kitchen-bath, bedroom, TV wifi, living room on the 1st floor. The apartment is suitable for a couple with 1-2 smaller children. Wilderness baths can be used for a fee of DKK 300/40 euros. Sauna can also be used for a fee of 300 NOK/40 euros. Use of both wilderness baths and sauna costs 500kr/65 euros. A light cleaning is desired upon departure, alternatively you can pay a cleaning fee of 400 kr.

Cozy old seaside cottage in the first row. The garden leads straight down to the beach. The original house is old but well kept. The newly built sunroom, with a direct view of the sea, makes the house enjoyable all year round. The rooms are small and what we call an annex can only be seen as an extra bedroom located 8 meters from the house and cannot be locked from inside. The house is ideal for 4 people, but there are 6 beds. The price includes use of electricity, water, and heating.
