The Nest has a Log burner, central heating, WIFI,smart TV, Egyptian linen and twinkling fairy lights ,. Walks onto the moors from the front door , seating area outside to watch the sun go down with a large glass of wine, welcoming family pub across the road, Co-op, and fine dining pub also in the village. Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

Bumble cottage is a beautiful family and dog friendly holiday home. Only a short walk from the centre of the village. Great Ayton is situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors and provides a wonderful base for exploring the local area. There are many possibilities for family activities, for walking, hiking, road and mountain biking and running. The beautiful beach at Saltburn is also only a 15 minute drive away. There are several excellent and unique cafes, restaurants and bars.

The property is the ideal location for exploring North Yorkshire. 15 to 30 mins from the North Yorkshire Moors, Redcar and Saltburn beaches, Roseberry topping and Whitby. We are dog friendly. Outside we have a secure, seated courtyard. Stokesley and the local area hosts all manner of restaurants and cafes, many of which are dog-friendly.

When you are not exploring the local area , of walking many of the excellent trails you can sit and enjoy a glass or two on one of the two large comfy sofas in front of a real fire.

The property comprises; open plan lounge/fitted kitchen/diner, a large kingsize bedroom and separate family bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor. A further loft bedroom has twin beds (or joined as a superking) and a further single bed. *The private car park is not immediately adjacent to the property so there is no accessible electric charging point for electric cars.

The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
