This is our second visit in the Recycle House. It’s such a lovely oasis. We love all the unique touches and creative uses of materials throughout the house. The location just steps from the charming town of Chester could not be better. The perfect CT weekend getaway!

I will definitely come back to stay here! Actually, I have made more reservation to stay at this place in the future! If Michael will list more properties on airbnb , his listings will always be my 1st choice!

It was very comfortable living space a beautiful scenery

Jan's house was a great stay with plenty of room for six adults. We loved the game room and outdoor hot tub. Instructions for the hot tub were clear and easy to follow. We'd definitely stay again!

My wife, friends, and I had an awesome time, and Thomas is very thoughtful. Second time renting from him, and last time I mentioned we made smores. For my wife, it was her first time. Guess what? He left us a smores kit! Thanks again, Thomas!

Chelsea was communicative and helpful about her beautiful house. It had all we needed, was well appointed, beautifully decorated and in a gorgeous natural setting. We spent time lounging in the living room as a family and it was so comfortable. Top notch! Grab this place now!

Me and a few friends spent the weekend at Lauren’s since we had a wedding in East Haddam. Lauren’s home was lovely, and we especially loved the friendly chickens in the backyard! The beds were extremely comfortable and the home was perfect for our needs. Thank you so much for having us!

Wow!!! This is the nicest airbnb I have ever stayed in. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees with lots of privacy. The cottage itself is immaculate (I’m very particular about cleanliness). The dining area is stunning with skylights and beautiful trees outside and great light! The hosts were also so welcoming and friendly, they included so many nice touches for my baby including a pack and play/travel crib, diaper changing area, and toys! I hope to stay here again every time we come to this area!

This was a delightful stay, and I wish we hadn't had so many family obligations so we could have enjoyed the place better. I so wanted to take time to relax on the beautiful and inviting back patio and just explore the property. I love historic places. We will definitely stay again next time we have family events in the area. Carol reached out to us and made us feel very welcome. We knew we had help if we needed something, but we didn't experience any issues at all, so didn't need to reach out. Great host for sure!!!

The place was beautifully decorated and everything from the plants to the antiques was wonderful to see. This is the perfect place for any stay and they only ask that you respect the possessions. John was very responsive in helping us for a late check in.

Lovely town and environment. Very spacious and fully equipped apartment. The two bedrooms are separated from each other by the big kitchen, a little reading room and the living room…so good privacy. Two TVs. Comfy beds! The small town is an easy and pleasant walk. It’s a ground floor apartment under the owners house, so be prepared for the patter of little dog feet above. We did not see the owners but communication was terrific. Great place to stay in the vicinity.

The place was really nice and the host was great! Don’t get discouraged if the power goes out during your stay cause apparently that’ll happen 2-4 times a year according to the host. Other than that I highly recommend

I had a great stay! The location is excellent—safe and close to a convenient store. The house is cozy, modern, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with all my needs. Highly recommend!

The apartment is cozy and quiet, perfect for a comfortable stay. It’s within walking distance to a coffee shop and several restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite or a drink nearby. Tatenda is a wonderful host—very kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the stay.

Sally's pond view apartment is a great place to stay. Because so many of the necessities of home are provided, it's easy to get comfortable right away. There are little touches all around, like beautiful watercolor prints, that charmed me. The grounds are pretty and well maintained with lots of flowering plants and areas where you can sit a spell. The gorgeous pond is a bonus, with its very own resident swan. There's delicious dining close by as well as grocery stores if you're inclined to cook because you can since the apartment's kitchen area is well stocked with cooking tools. Since we were staying for a while, I appreciated the laundry room and not having to go to a laundromat. I was also thankful for a chance to meet Sally & Pete who are warm and knowledgeable hosts. I would recommend a stay at Sally's.

The Villa was exactly as described! Easy communication with owner. A perfect getaway weekend, every amenity we could want or need! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!

We had a great stay at Julie’s place. There was a slight hiccup with check-in times but Julie was very communicative and sorted it out promptly. The place itself was great, beautiful waterfront views and a private beach. The weather wasn’t the best but we still made the most of it. The apartment was compact but big enough for 4 adults.

The stay was very peaceful, friendly neighbors. The scenery was great, Desiree was there for any concerns we had, and with timely response. I would anyone that want a pleasurable stay while in Norwich, this is the place to be. Thanks again, for a wonderful stay. William & Potreen
