The basement apartment with separate entrance includes a combined living-bedroom with double bed, a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. It was completely renovated in 2019. However, it is a basement apartment, standing height in kitchen and sleeping area about 2 m. The apartment is not suitable for toddlers as there are unsecured high steps.

My stay was great, everything worked out great and the communication was really great both before arrival and there! Check-in is straightforward via a key box, the room has everything you need and there is a private, super beautiful guest bathroom. As stated in the description, the room is right next to the kitchen, so if you want your peace and quiet and don't want to hear other people, you might be better off somewhere else. If that doesn't bother you, I can give you a very clear recommendation, I felt very comfortable and at home. Alex and Florian are super sweet and helpful 🩵 I rented a bike for the KiWo, and that was also very straightforward.

We were met at the entrance by Ingeborg who then guided us to the parking space and then to her home. We had booked a twin room (as 2 males traveling together) but she upgraded us to a room each. Rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom easily accessible and well appointed. She offered us breakfast for 9 euro each which was wonderful. All in all a wonderful stay and would have loved to stay longer. Hope to return in future.

I stayed at Mikro’s place with my family. 2 girls ages of 11 and 13 we all felt very comfortable and loved the place. We needed nothing his place. has almost everything you would need. You will be able to cook and wash your laundry in case of staying for longer time. We had such a good time in Kiel and we will definitely book Mikro’s place when we come here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I was very warmly welcomed by Susanne and immediately felt at home. The house and the bedroom are very well maintained, clean and very tidy and Susanne a perfect hostess. The Airbnb is located in a quiet area and easy to reach from the highway. But still far enough away to relax in peace. Susanne is very friendly and accommodating. Top recommendation!

We were two over the weekend at the Kieler Woche and had our apartment at Gilles. The location was very good and central. It was also great that we had a small balcony and that despite the central proximity to the Kieler Woche and the city, we did not notice the hustle and bustle or the noise there. The apartment is really small, but if you travel with small luggage, you can get there.
