Beachfront holiday rental in Milarrochy Bay

This was a great find! If you’re looking to escape and feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but still want glamping facilities - this is perfect! Very secluded but the bar restaurant near by was fantastic (we even got vegan pizzas on the Friday!), and there was a wee coffee shop that was well stocked and great coffee which was perfect in the morning. The fire pit is set up each night for you to sit by and the dog loved it!

We had a great time here. This was a birthday surprise for my cousin 70th birthday who has problems with mobility. Wendy communicated with me putting flowers, banners and a balloon to surprise her which was great. It was easy for my cousin to get around the property and the garden. Definitely would come back. Beautiful property in a stunning setting.

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

Mandy is a great host always very quick to respond. We had a very comfortable stay in her spacious apartment. Everything you could want for a home from home. Position is ideal with Inverkip village a short walk away, with there local village hotel for something to eat and a few drinks. You can get the local bus from the village. There is also the Chartroom only a short stroll from apartment if you want somewhere closer to eat and drink. Inverkip train station is close to catch a train to Glasgow.

We had such a wonderful stay at Cathy's place. The views of the garden and the Loch are so beautiful, it's a really peaceful place to be - and we were lucky with the weather so could sit outside on the decking and enjoy the evening sun. The place is really clean, the bed is comfy and Cathy is so nice and super responsive - thankyou so much! Also its just great base to explore the local area, Loch lomond etc

We wanted to try somewhere different to our usual, that was within our budget, that is dog friendly and Ian’s place stood out by far. This converted church is tucked away between two properties, which we never knew existed! It has a beautiful driveway leading up to the property. The church is shared with a lovely elderly couple (who share the same entrance, but have their own front door to their side of the church) who visit every so often and maintain the grounds. The church has some of the original features which is nice to see and the original stained glass windows. The ground floor master bedroom is a reasonable size and the bed is absolutely comfy! The kitchen is very reasonable sized for both of us. The best feature is the glass conservatory which is a nice place to relax, have a few drinks and watch the wildlife, the birds nest & firth of Clyde. The upstairs is nice and relaxed with two single beds & amazing view of the stars & sunset/rise. Highly recommended!

Marc's place was absolutely amazing. It was as described in a beautiful beautiful part of western Scotland a remarkably amazing position on the beach which was beautiful we even seen dolphins and porpoise out in the river which was incredible. Overall an amazing stay thank you Marc we will definitely see you again

Location,for us ,was perfect. Dog friendly garden Good eateries around ,from coffee breaks to meals. Beautiful surrounding areas to visit Will be back next year Thanks to those who made it a positive experience

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. The chalet is part of a holiday park with other similar chalets nearby, but it’s well laid out and you can see glimpses of Loch Lomond from the windows and balcony. The chalet is beautifully appointed and very cosy, with lots of space. The dishwasher works well and saved us some effort! The park is at the end of a long track - it’s very well surfaced so not hard to drive. It does make the whole area very quiet and tranquil. Alisdair is very helpful and communicative - a really good host. An excellent base for a Loch Lomond holiday.

Lovely lakeside property, ideal for family. Clean and well maintained, 2 bed rooms, well stocked kitchen, comfortable heating. Very proactive and communicative host. Two areas of improvement. 1. Access to food in the neighborhood was a challenge, there's only one pub with limited food options. Menu provided in the property was dated and not catered to. 2. There's only a washing machine but no dryer in the property. Overall though, a wonderful property and made for a great stay, we would go there again.

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

We had the most wonderful stay at this property with our family and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and cozy. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home.Thank you Hannah!

The cosy flat is everything you could have expected, and has an ideal location with a stunningly breathtaking seafront view. Parking right outside the front door with no issues. The welcome book Sheena has includes all the local information (from instructions on how to use the sofa bed and thermostat, restaurants, to fun facts about the island. Clearly, Sheena has went out of her way and thought of everything that her guests would benefit from knowing during their stay. Thanks again.

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

A very special spot right on the loch with beautiful views from almost every room. The space has everything you need and is very cosy! Great and responsive host. Would most definitely visit again.

Myself and friends stayed at Willowmere Cabin last weekend. When we arrived it was exactly as pictured, with some areas being even better such as the Hot Tub. Andrea was extremely friendly from the start and very helpful. She was always available and did her very best to make our stay as perfect as it was. We all had a fantastic weekend and I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone as it has the full package! It’s safe to say we’ll be back and I can’t wait! 10/10.

We had the most wonderful time staying in the Lodge overlooking what has to be one of the most beautiful views in Scotland. The spot is idyllic and peaceful; our dogs and kids loved it as much as we did. Iain was a fantastic host, so friendly and responsive. It was lovely that he also gave us recommendations of what to do; and provided a really thoughtful welcome pack. We will 100% be back. Thank you Iain

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

We can't say enough about Mel, our host. He is a SUPER, Super host. He met us at the house, explained all the nuances of running the appliances, coffee maker, etc. I have stayed in many AirBnb's, and this was the most well stocked home yet; bread, coffee, snacks,OJ, Milk, lots of spices, and just about everything to get you started. The view from the porch is stunning. The house was immaculate in cleanliness and decorating. An added bonus; the hotter. Just can't say enough. I highly recommend this property. Janice

Wow...stunning location on the banks of Loch Tay we had a truly memorable stay at the lodge and everything we needed was at hand. The host Nina was in regular contact before our stay and made us feel welcome. Thankyou.

Had an amazing few days and the Scottish weather could not have been better. Cottage has the most amazing views. The lounge/cinema room is so relaxing. Great garden for our dogs to play and easy access to loch where we did some paddle boarding and even had a seal swimming along side us. Would love to visit again!

Rae and Justin have clearly gone to lots of effort to deliver a great experience. Their place was exactly as described, a beautiful location and all the wee extras were lovely. Brilliant space for family holidays and loved the kids and adult tables in the very well provisioned kitchen! Look forward to returning again.

We would highly recommend this place. The house was really great - as it appears in the pictures and description but the views are even better in person. The place was very well taken care of and spotless. The hosts - Graham and Liz - were some of the nicest hosts we have ever had. We had issues opening the front gate due to a setting on our international phones but Liz stayed on the phone with us late at night as we worked through our issue. Graham was extremely nice as well. He gave us a brief tour around and is one of the nicest hosts out there
