Formerly an inn dating back to the late 1800’s, The Sloop is now a cosy waterside cottage just metres from the beach. Set in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park it has an abundance of walks and waterways on it's doorstep. At high tide enjoy canoeing down the estuary or paddle boarding to secluded beaches whilst low tide reveals the long sandy beach, a dogs paradise and a crabbing bridge for the children to enjoy. Get away from it all in our peaceful little nook located above the beach at Llanreath. Only 5 minutes to the historic 13th century town of Pembroke. We are 15 minutes by car to the beaches at Freshwater West, top surfing spot and home to Dobby’s Grave, Broadhaven South and the stunning Barafundle to name but a few. In addition the charming seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only a 20 minute drive making Driftaway Cottage the perfect base to explore all Pembrokeshire has to offer.
