Alexander Apartments Haven-by-the-sea in Gourdon

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had stayed here last year. Location is superb, living room windows look directly onto the see, rocky for hundreds of yards when tide out, water directly below window when tide is in. Wife hardly left the flat lol and loved the views. Top bedroom offers superb sea views and you feel like your at sea with the windows open. Worthy of note that access to the property is via 14/15 continuous steps leading to the front door and there is a set of stairs to the top bedroom. (important to be aware of if you've got mobility issues, as my wife has). As we have been before we knew what to expect this time round. Apartment was clean with decent facilities. Provided some feedback to host on some minor issues needing addressed which would have made the experience perfect. Great location to explore. Thoroughly enjoyed stay and will definitely be back. Cheers

Smiddy Cottage by Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful cottage with stunning scenery, perfect for a relaxed chilled holiday. The cottage is modern, spacious and has everything you need, the hot tub is great for winding down while watching the family of deer in the next field. We would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking to get away from it all but still want to have amenities close by, Stonehaven is only a 15 minute drive away as is Dunnottar Castle, worth a visit!

Immaculate cosy comfortable home, central location

LeoRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Evita’s property is a few meters from a high street supermarket, bars and pubs, butcher, chemist, take always and several other small retailers. A short walk also takes you to the beach and river mouth, long coastal walks are possible on good trails. The property itself is as advertised and benefits from private parking, a real plus as the high street can get quite busy with parked cars. I highly recommend a stay there and will make repeat visits with my wife in the future.

Driftwood - A coastal experience by the sea.

HazelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I stayed at Driftwood for 3 nights with my husband and teenage son. The house is comfortable and well stocked, plenty of dishes, cutlery etc. The street is peaceful and I enjoyed being able to see the sea from the windows. It is just a short walk to a pub, restaurant (fish and chip shop) and Chinese takeaway. It is a short, flat walk (just over a mile) to Inverbervie for a Scotmid. The walk to Johnshaven is longer, however, a lovely flat walk too. Gourdon is in a lovely area, and hopefully I'll visit again.

We have truly enjoyed our time at The Cottage with amazing views and peaceful surroundings. The cottage had all we needed and Kirsty was very approachable and quick to respond if we needed any recommendations or help. We can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and who enjoy the nature.

The Edge - Amazing 140-foot" Cliff Top Views

HazelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had the most incredible stay at Windy Edge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The photos were stunning when we booked, but the reality exceeded every expectation. The property is modern, beautifully kept, and clearly designed with care – every detail thoughtfully considered. Lynsay and Dave were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and attentive from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless. The location is perfect – peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to shops for anything you might need, striking the ideal balance. The views are truly something special, unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I’ve stayed in many beautiful places. Waking up to those stunning landscapes each morning was a real privilege. The space itself is spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, my family made the most perfect memories together Can’t recommend Windy Edge highly enough – we will definitely be back xx

Stonehaven Seaside Town House

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house and location were outstanding. The instructions for everything within the house, i.e. heating, water, how/what to recycle etc. were very clear. The house was lovely and clean and there were plenty of toys for our 5 and 3 year old children to play with. The house had a fully fitted kitchen and there was plenty of cutlery & crockery for a large family. I would definitely recommend ... we will be back!
