Holiday houses in Milopotamos

Great place! The beach is very quiet and during the week days in June it was basically private for us. The view is amazing. The location is a bit remote, and although the hosts were very kind to not leave us starving, be prepared with your groceries. The closest shop is 20 minutes away by car. The sea has amazing blue water. If you seek a bit of “get away from people” this is a definite go-to place. If you expect life, cities and beaches full with people and bars - don’t bother.

Υπέροχο σπίτι μέσα στη φύση! Ομορφο, καθαρό, με πολύ ιδιαίτερη διακόσμηση. Συνδυάζει βουνό με θαλασσα. Απολαύσαμε την ηρεμία και την ωραία αύρα που μας έβγαλε. Η κυρία Αναστασία είναι πολύ βοηθητικη, εξυπηρετική, πρόσχαρη και είναι δίπλα σου για ότι χρειαστείς! Σας το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!

We stayed for two weeks at this gorgeous house. It’s a beautiful place, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and comfortable. It’s part of a three property plot, but still very private. Hosts were charming and couldn’t have been more helpful, especially when we had some problems with our car. Talking of which - the house is a km or so off the main road in Tsagkarada, accessible but very steep in places and not well maintained. We recommend a high wheel base car to be safe, and if it’s a hire car ensure you have a spare tyre not just a puncture repair kit 😃. If you are minus a car whilst your is fixed, there are some restaurants in the village nearby, a short but steep walk from the house through the woods. Also some lovely beaches in the area - a 15 -30 minute drive away. We have been to The Pelion before and always enjoyed our visits, but really fell in love with it this time. We shall come back.

Das Haus auf dem Berg ist ein Traum. Die Lage ist einsam, uneinsehbar und wunderschön. Die Betten waren gut (es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, die wir genutzt haben und noch etliche Betten auf der offenen Galerie). Es ist ein voll ausgestattetes Duschbad vorhanden. Zudem ein WC mit Brause und eine schöne Außendusche. Ausstattung und Einrichtung sind eher bodenständig als luxuriös. Der Luxus ist hier durch die Lage, Ausblick und die großzügige Freifläche gegeben. Das Klima war für August sehr angenehm (nachts schön abgekühlt, tags leichter Wind). Der Weg zum Strand ist sehr steil aber mit einem gewöhnlichen PKW und etwas Mut (oder mit etwas Puste zu Fuß) gut zu machen. Wer -wie wir- Exklusivität aufgrund von Aussicht und Abgeschiedenheit schätzt wird den Preis für angemessen halten. Apostolis und Maria waren reizend nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber und haben sich jederzeit toll gekümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen in jedem Fall sehr gerne wieder!!

Gems of Pinakates exceeded our expectations. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed a deep well needed rest. The place itself has a wonderful energy, clean mountain water and a stunning pool that did not smell of chlorine. The villas are chic, well equipped and clean. But it was Revital (the host) who is the true Gem of Pinakates, from before our journey began until after we left she made sure we had everything we needed and so much more. The host was very friendly, and helped us find a place to eat despite it being the off-season. They were helpful, and the studio room was gorgeous. I definitely recommend this host!

Wir waren super zufrieden. Alles was wir brauchten war da. Wir empfehlen sehr gerne diese Unterkunft. Man muss auf jedenfall ein Auto haben. Wor würden wieder kommen kommen.

A beautiful apartment, located in an area that looks like a painting, walk 3 minutes on foot and you reach a stunning beach with cool bars and a good atmosphere. The apartment itself is equipped and luxurious and is located in a wonderful orchard!! We enjoyed the place very much
