Jeff was a great host. Very responsive to a few requests and a nice guy to chat with. Loved the live music around the campfire and the outdoor kitchen was fun to cook in.

Cottage on Mindemoya Lake

AmiraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A lovely place to stay in Manitoulin. A spacious cottage with lots of room in the kitchen for cooking, a comfortable living room and a nice large TV. The patio was so inviting with comfy furniture and a beautiful view of the lake. We especially loved swimming in the lake! A sandy bottom and shallow, like a lot of the beaches on Lake Huron. There are amazing hikes close by with lots of options for places to eat and buy food. We would stay here again in our next visit to Manitoulin for sure.

Green Bay Lodge - Lodge Suite 2

One of the best places you can choose to stay while you’re on the island. Christina is a wonderful host. The place is absolutely gorgeous with lots to do, it’s completely private and quiet. You would never imagine how quiet your mornings could be until you visit the island and stay here. The cabins were filled with all the basic amenities you’d need. There were plenty of boats and life jackets which you can use whenever. Huge pile of firewood and a fire pit to light a fire as well. Very close to all the tourism locations and it’s located right in the centre of the island. All in all, if you’re on the island, this is the best place to stay.

Eagle Nest, Manitoulin Island, Bay at Lake Huron

Stellar view of the sunrise every morning. Cottage is very clean, well kept and has everything you could possibly need. Love the view, the peace and quiet, the constant sound of the water on the shore; the deck is a great place to spend all of your time. Enjoyed paddling around the bay - so clean and beautiful. From our sea kayaks, we watched the deer frolic in the water - they came out quite a ways as the sand bar is shallow and runs for miles! Paddled up Manitou and Blue Jay river - fish were jumping! The cottage is centrally located - short drive to anywhere on the island for your day trips. Although you may be tempted just to stay put at a cottage that has all of the comforts of home.

Kim's Cottage was very comfortable and had everything that was needed. The grounds were beautiful and was very quiet and secluded. Very comfortable to sleep and was very well cleaned. We cannot wait to come again next year.

Patrick was great! The room was clean and the bed comfy! Breakfast was self serve with several choices available. The dock was steps away and we spent hours there watching the sunsets and birds! Beautiful setting?

My first time to Manitoulin island I stayed at Debbie’s Airbnb. It was very clean and had everything I needed for some time away from home. She was very kind as well as her sweet golden retriever Milo. Debbie was quick to respond if I had any questions before or after check in. She also gave me some great local recommendations for spots to see. I felt very at home and safe during my stay and would recommend staying at Debbie’s to anyone visiting the island.
