The house is really beautiful. You wake up every morning in the middle of pure nature. It’s a unique place. Lots of fun things included in the house. We had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend if you wanna spend a family vacation. It’s the perfect place to spend a lot of time in.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We stayed at Dylan’s place for the weekend with 13 adults and 4 kids. There was enough rooms and beds for all of us with adequate bedding and space. The house was clean and well equipped for our weekend! Before the stay we had lots of questions and Dylan was very responsive and answered everything in a timely manner and with lots of details. He was always following up during the weekend as well. The dock is beautiful and amazing! It was a bit buggy but that’s expected near the waters. We used the kayaks and boat and had a wonderful time!

Jamie's property was the perfect spot for our family gathering of 13. The cottage is very spacious with several options for people to hang out together without infringing on others having a conversation. Loved the kayaking and outside spaces for relaxing - the property is very private. The fire pit was the best we've experienced. Plenty of parking and easy to unload our things. Our host responded immediately to every question. I'd love to bring my family back!

really lovely location on the lake. well equipped place. the vies of the lake is incredible. we took the canoe out in the evening and the morning and was just amazing! definitely recommend it to get away from the hustle and bustle

Spent a relaxing long weekend at Amanda’s beautiful cottage. The space is gorgeous and full of light from the wrap around windows. Great open concept kitchen at the centre of the cottage which had everything we needed to cook wonderful meals. The fireplace is lovely on a chilly day and we spent a lot of time curled up on the comfy couches reading. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the linens are lovely. The space was immaculately clean! Outdoor space is fantastic with a beautiful view out over the lake. Comfortable patio furniture set up on the dock. Location of the cottage is great, with a few restaurants, bakery and shop 10 mins drive away. Communication with Amanda was great. She’s really helpful with clear directions to the cottage and instructions for everything organized in a booklet for your arrival. I would highly recommend anyone looking to relax by the lake rent this cottage. We are hoping to return often! The one is a gem! Thanks for having us Amanda!

The cabin and location are absolutely beautiful, a very special place. Very well equipped both inside outside with several different seating areas with fire hole, barbecue, jetty, boats etc. high end washing machines, kitchen equipment etc The host was very friendly and helpful and provided very detailed description of all aspects of the location with contact details in the unlikely event that we needed help We had a very enjoyable, private, quiet and relaxing family vacation

We had a great stay at Jonathan’s place! Everything was just as described, Jonathan was quick to respond all of our questions. The kitchen amenities were top notch, it had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. We also really enjoyed the new bbq grill. The location was easy to find. The house has an amazing view of the lake, which is great for swimming and kayaking. I’d definitely recommend Jonathan’s place!

We had such a fantastic time at this Airbnb! The property is truly beautiful, and we were so impressed with how well-maintained and equipped it was. A special shout-out for the abundant firewood – we absolutely loved spending our evenings by the fireplace, it really added to the experience. Thanks to Paul for being such a thoughtful host. We definitely hope to visit again!

We stayed at Nicole’s place for 3 nights and had such a wonderful experience. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the neighbourhood was quiet and very friendly - perfect for a relaxing getaway. Nicole was quick to respond to any questions and went above and beyond by letting us enjoy the entire day when we were supposed to be checking out because no one was checking in. It was such a kind gesture, especially since the weather was perfect! The price is more than reasonable for what you get. We will 100% be visiting again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at Alan and Rosalie’s place for our honeymoon with our pup Phoebe. We had the best time ever. The photos don’t even do this place justice. It really is a little slice of heaven. So private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed going on walks through the various trails that are well maintained and relaxing on the dock. We will most definitely be back to visit! Alan and Rosalie were also very welcoming and responsive!

This was a great cottage stay for 3 people. It’s smaller, but doesn’t feel cramped, and the open concept, as well as all of outdoor areas really make the space feel a lot larger. Almost everything is modern and fresh. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need. The beds are also quite comfortable. The internet accessible tv was a bonus, as was the hot tub. The photos are highly accurate. The hosts also get back to you, within an hour. The neighborhood was very quiet, even on a June weekend. I’d very much recommend this place. For negatives, I’d really have to “nitpick”: the bbq and dock/steps to water could use a refresh, but that’s a minimal “complaint” - since everything worked and were easy to use.

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

We stayed at Laura's cabin on our honeymoon and it was amazing! We love the outdoors and if the weather has cooperated we would have taken the kayaks out onto the lake. If your looking for a quick quiet getaway close to Gravenhurst with all the amenities of cottage county, this is your place to stay! The cabin was clean, stocked with all your kitchen essentials you will need.

We got a last family get away before our girls go off to college. It was a beautiful spot to play games, enjoy a slower pace and get some quality family time together. We fished, read, played games and just enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the area. Alex and Violetta were super responsive to the questions that I had. Beautiful home and lots of thoughtful amenities.

It was another enjoyable stay. This is our second time staying at Micheal’s listing here in Norland. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks again for the relaxing getaway :)

Wonderful stay at Bardo cabins ! The views are incredible, it’s really peaceful and quiet, the cabin is really beautiful and very comfortable ! Rob is also very reactive and gave us nice recommendations !

We rented 2 cottages on same premises for this booking, and hosts were able to accomodate our needs. Very responsive hosts, with clear instructions and descriptions of the place. Unit 4B is our fave place to hang as its closer to the river and has bright space. Back Porch is enclosed with glass window and screen for night hang out place when you wanna avoid mosquitos outside and/if it’s raining outside. You still feel like youre outside with the comfort of staying inside :) 4A is nice if guests wants privacy at night, coz its has 2 queen size bed and bunk bed (3 BR). Both cottages can use all the water activity stuff. Nice to fish here too. Bonfire at night is great as well with free fire woods from the hosts. Location from Toronto is great, as you will feel like youre far away but it’s just 1.5hrs drive.

We had a great time here celebrating my son's 6th birthday and Father's Day. Not many places can boast a great little private beach plus a dock, and the fishing off the beach was great. We also saw lots of turtles, including some babies, which were adorable. The beds are super comfortable, as is the living room. We loved having use of the paddle boat to see more of the natural beauty of the lake. Great spot!
