Great house and great location! John’s instructions were useful and precise.

The trip was an absolutely amazing time to spend time in nature and bond with friends. The house was honestly a little bigger than I thought and had a lot of to inside and around it. The only issue we had was the code to get into the house but other than that we have 0 complaints.

The cabin was great. It had plenty of room, great furniture, upgraded TVs, and was set in a beautiful part of the mountains. The hot tub was a nice bonus as well.

Treetop Haven was absolutely amazing! Laura is a fantastic host who helped us book her place last minute due to another cancellation. She was super responsive and helpful. The home was beautiful, a perfect blend between a secluded treehouse and a modern home near town. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend her place.

Exactly what I was looking for - a peaceful retreat in the mountains. The house is spacious and comfortable with so much natural light. I loved relaxing in the hot tub looking out on the valley, after a long hike. The historic town of Romney is just minutes away if you need to pick something up. I hope to return!

Amber is very kind and considerate. When we reached, it was raining, we couldn't find the cabin. Amber had us follow her car to find the way. We were also underprepared and didn't have utensils, silverware to cook / barbeque at night. Amber very generously offered us her personal utensils to help out. She also has an equally warm and affectionate family that supports the guests.

My fiance and I had an AMAZING time here this past weekend, such a beautiful hidden gem. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek and walking around the woods in the morning. You can tell the place is well loved and run by genuine people. Theres so much to explore around and we were given a whole list of places to visit! Already planning more trips to come visit again!

My fiancé and I stayed here with our 3 dogs on a trip to hiking some of the best sights in eastern WV. This place is a true treat and I hope is around for many many years to come. We’d love to come back in the summer and enjoy some of the many swimming holes along the creek. We had a slight issue in the beginning but Michael was responsive quickly and worked to quickly resolve. Abrams creek is a perfect little hole in the wall, truly private and secluded place.

I was looking for an escape from the pressures of the city for me and my teenager & am so glad I found this place, because our experience at Cabin C at Abrams Creek with Michael as host could not have been more perfect. The site is incredibly gorgeous—our dog was in 7th heaven—and it was impossible not to feel happy waking up to the sound of the rushing creek, and going to sleep warm & cozy in the loft thanks to the electric heat, listening to the forest sounds or thunderstorms on the nights it rained. I was surprised to find a full-size fridge (and microwave!) in the cabin, which made our longer stay so much nicer, and when I needed to get work done or participate in remote meetings, I just set up on the porch in front of the lodge where the wifi is strong and reliable. It was the most relaxing and beautiful "office" I've ever worked in. Michael was kind, generous, and immediately attentive to our every need. We will be returning often!

Rustic place covered by the forest and next to an awesome stream. This was our 3rd visit to this peaceful place - natural surroundings have a healing effect here. It feels very safe and has all basic amenities that you could ask for in such a setting. Michael has everything planned out.

We wanted an interesting place to stay for our visit to the neighboring town of Cumberland. This little glamping cabin fit the bill. The owner’s instructions were clear and accurate. The cabin was clean and cutely decorated. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore the camp ground more. We would like to return for a longer weekend.

Great campground. Lots of lodging options - cabins, RV, tent sites. Thoughtful additions to the cabin we stayed in - table, chairs, mini fridge, heater. Just as described and pictured. Very good bathroom facilities for a campground. Flexible check-in, with clear instructions. The glamp store was a good addition to the property, even though we did not need anything from the store. Peaceful, beautiful area and grounds. Close to Deep Creek and Swallow Falls, which are the places we visited during our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hermitage. We are very familiar with the area. We have a family home one block away & have outgrown that home for an annual family long weekend, thus my husband and I now need to rent a home to accommodate that issue. We were 5 adults, 2 toddlers & a 1 month-old baby. The home was spacious & we were able to spread out. It was nicely appointed & the descriptions of things provided and things you should bring was helpful & accurate. We enjoyed all of the games provided. Came in handy on a rainy day. Tons of water toys for the lake were excitedly found by our 2.5 year old granddaughter. She loved playing with some of them at the lake. The deck is so spacious & we enjoyed spending time out there after the rain let up. We are a very active family & enjoyed walking to the sandy beach & all around Sky Valley and Thousand Acres...such a lovely location & very close to our hearts (we've been coming since the 90's). We will rent this home again next year!

Our stay at deer dwelling was just what my fiancé and I needed for a few nights stay. We loved the location and how simple the cabin was! We will definitely be back to stay at Sleepy Hollow!

Austin's cabin was wonderful! It was a beautiful space with an exquisite view. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends.

We stayed here on a Thurs-Sun trip for a family wedding. We had 5 to the house and had plenty of room. The property and cabin are just beautiful and so peaceful. It's all very rustic and rural so you must be comfortable with that to stay here, but it was such an amazing value for what we paid and we were like 15 mins from the venue so it couldn't have been better. High pressure, hot water showers without issue and loads of DVDs and games to choose from as well as good wifi service in the house. Fort Ashby and the surrounding area were wonderful little towns although we didn't have as much time to explore as I would have liked. Finding the place is a bit of a doozy and requires pretty carefully following the host's instructions, so I highly suggest finding it on Google satellite map image and arriving during the daytime. The driveway is steep but not that bad really in warm/good weather. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Spectacular views overlooking the cute town of Romney. We were able to see a stunning sunset and sunrise. Easy check in and out. Nadia was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The house was great, exactly as pictured! Would definitely recommend and plan to return at some point in the future!
