Quiet and peaceful! We really enjoyed the screened in porch! Bed was comfortable. One shower head was broken, but that was communicated. The soap/ Shampoo dispensers didn't work in showers, but Kristen mentioned she has new ones to install. It was just an inconvenience because we didn't pack any to save room.

This was an amazing place to stay. The pictures don't do the house or the surrounding nature justice. The place was spotless and the guidebook had great recommendations for hiking, food, etc. A great peaceful place to get away for a weekend.

What a wonderful place to get away for a little R and R but your still only 20 mins away from downtown with tons of restaurant choices! The cabin was so clean and the attention to detail was so nice! 10/10 would recommend! Scott was always quick to respond and helpful! This cabin and experience was amazing!

Had a great time at Shawn & Sarah's A-frame cabin home! The place was amazing, with plenty of space and amenities. We had four people total, but could have easily fit 2-3 more without issue. Only about a 10-15 min drive to Wardensville, WV which has a grocery store, restaurants, a bakery, a cafe, and everything else you'd need. There are 2-3 hikes within 5-10 minutes of the home which was perfect for us. We did the Halfmoon Mountain trail as well as the Wolf Gap trail to the Big Schloss which were both worth it. Hot tub was great, porch was great, and the grill worked great as well. There was a cardinal that woke us up pretty early the first night because it kept flying into the window of the front door. We fixed this pretty easily by draping a bedsheet over the window we helped a lot. With all that said I would 100% recommend spending a weekend here or longer, it's definitely worth it!

Beautiful property hidden in the hills of West Virginia. Very peaceful and private. The owners were very easy to communicate with and they take great care of their property. Bonus - the two golden retrievers that spent time with us ❤️

This was an absolute perfect cabin for getting away from all of the hustle and bustle! Dave provided clear instructions which was very helpful. We found the bed extremely comfy. The kitchen was well stocked, complete with coffee. We enjoyed seeing a couple of deer. We did not mind the curtains for doors at all. These city folk found the rural roads a little challenging particularly since a road sign was missing but once we got the hang of it, all was well! We appreciated all of the fans and the window a/c unit. We even had a chance to play some games that were available. More than anything, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the hot tub melted our stress away. Thanks for the hospitality and a chance to get away!

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin was beautiful, the location was very secluded, and the town was within a 10-minute drive. I highly recommend.

Wow, what a lovely stay. Even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, including an outdoor grill and kitchen space, lots of fire pits, and a hot tub. Very relaxing with everything you would need for your stay. Very close to many activities and food. We enjoyed Summersville Lake State Park and New River Gorge National Park for Bridge Walk and White Water Rafting. One of our favorite Airbnb stays we’ve had!

We love the Red Bull Inn! This is our second stay here and it just made us want to keep coming back. It’s so clean and inviting. The property is peaceful and the river is beautiful. The kids did a lot of fishing; we took canoes and kayaks and explored the Buckhannon River each day. The porch is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon relaxing, and then the fire spot is great in the evening. It’s a wonderful place. We’ve never had any issues. I highly recommend it!

My parents and I very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin over Father’s Day weekend. Our stay was peaceful and provided us the break we needed. Everything had been thoughtfully prepared - from the EV charger (A huge plus! The adapter to the Tesla was provided) to the well-stocked kitchen and spacious beds. We appreciated having all we needed to build a fire, grill, and enjoy meals both indoors and out. It was very easy to communicate with Lindsey. We would absolutely return!

The cabin is privately located in a beautiful area of rolling green farms. Just driving around the neighborhood was worth the trip. Visitors to the property included deer,groundhogs,cattle,scarlet tanagers and fireflies rising in the yard every evening. The cabin is beautifully constructed and was stocked with supplies well beyond what was expected. We felt at home and relaxed immediately. We liked the location for its proximity to Lewisburg and made treks out to Hinton, the New River Gorge, and the Cranberry Glades. Highly recommend.

It was a peaceful getaway, even though it rained every day except one day, when we went to the State Park. Michael's place had a lot to offer, He has a game room in the basement and that kept us busy. The house was spotless and great scenery. Will rent again in the near future!

I wanted a getaway with my family for the week. Instead of typically going to Shenandoah we picked this cabin to spend time together. I was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the host kept the house. They had everything from spices to condiments to coffee, teas and other kitchen supplies like a soda stream. The house is very cozy with a lot of blankets for you and the furries. The hosts also supplied hiking gear (sticks, hats etc), board games and fire making equipment. There is one very large loft style bedroom with a queen bed, futon, and tv and one private bedroom downstairs with two full beds. You could technically sleep 6-8 people if full privacy is not a need. Would go again with friends it’s a great spot to get out of DC. There were some nice hikes as well

Great as usual! Some a perfect spot to spend time with friends, hang by the water, and have a campfire. And Rebeccas very good at replying if there do happen to be any problems (although this time we were dandy 😀)

The cabin is absolutely beautiful, super clean and has everything you could need. The surrounds are magical and peaceful. The fenced in yard is perfect for dogs and the cabin has incredible views, especially from the porch.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous view overlooking the river! The place was well decorated and we loved listening to the rain on the skylights in the living room. The neighbors were a little closer than expected, but wasn’t really an issue. Power went out one night (area outage), and Alison was responsive and proactive to provide a location of various lamps and lights. We were already using the grill on the incredibly back deck, so we weren’t really inconvenienced by it. I do appreciate the host keeping us updated on power outage.

We drove in from Texas to visit with family from the Sissonville/Nitro area! We enjoyed just sitting on the porch & catching up. We did take a day to sight see at Hawks Nest & Bridge! The cabin had everything we needed for our little family get together! And the lighting bugs at night was something neat! Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

This was my first experience with air b&b or anything like it. Mark communicated every detail throughout the process. The house was beautiful and we were able to disconnect from life as a family. What an amazing experience. We love the area and will return!

Loved everything about this place from start to finish. We are already rebooting for next year. Beautiful, clean, and so darn cute. Especially loved the screened in porch to relax and listen to the stream. Thank you Kaitlyn and family for sharing your home with us.

Although the weather sequestered us in for most of the trip, it was comfortable and perfect for what we needed away from the noise of the world. The town is charming, the people beautiful, open, and receptive and the one hike we got in at the park was worth it! ❤️

Spent a weekend at the house for my husband’s birthday. The house was very beautiful and cozy. We were able to have a nice relaxing weekend. No complaints but I would suggest maybe a few more chairs for the fire pit and maybe a sauna. We would definitely come back!

Lovely little place - great for a weekend getaway. Most of our activities were in downtown Berkeley Springs or Cacapon so it was a little out of the way, but overall great! Only downside was that my poor pup couldn’t get any traction on the wood floors 😂 aside from that, if I’m ever in the area again I’d certainly return here to stay.

Great spot and perfect space for our family of four. It made for a wonderful long weekend getaway in the woods. Water is a bit sulfur-forward (which is not unexpected) so be sure to bring drinking water if you’re not into it. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Directions were clear and we were easily able to easily access and enjoy our favorite spots in the area. Thanks again!
