Holiday rentals with lake access in Mira beach

This place is incredible. A renovated house from the medieval period, it’s even more impressive than the pictures. The setting is beautiful, with a view of the valley right out the bedroom window. The place itself is spotless and the automated check-in was a breeze. The host even had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and it’s well stocked with coffee. Like most homes in the region, be prepared to drive for groceries and restaurants - and take note that the drive to the house is steep downhill and at times narrow - but take it slow and you’ll be fine. The location of this place is perfect if you want to visit both Porto and the Douro valley. 10/10 would recommend!

This is our best stop on a trip to Portugal. The house has everything you need, it's just nice to be inside. We were still in the moment when the electricity and communication went missing in Portugal - so the hostess and her family showed unreal care - and they brought candles, and the grill was lit and offered food - well, we never had such a cool "apocalypse"! I definitely recommend!

Our stay was amazing. We went to Grijó for a wedding and the location couldn't be more perfect. Emília was an amazing host, super available, attentive and of a giant sympathy! The house, besides the excellent cleaning, is very welcoming and is equipped with everything we need and something else :) all the corners were thought to detail with a lot of love and affection, both inside and outside that is also very pleasant ! And it's impossible not to feel the good energy ❤️ We sincerely thank you for your attention and look forward to coming back!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

Perfect house to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You can do your grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even seems to be ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and left us at ease to get in touch whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

This was a nice place on a quiet street. It had a comfortable bed and everything we needed in the studio apartment. The restaurants in the area were delicious. If you want to be a little bit away from the Porto downtown this is a great option. We had a vehicle and were able to drive over to Porto in 20 minutes. This place is made up of more local people and culture. It was quiet and beautiful. Only 1 minute walk from the water.

We really enjoyed this stay in Porto. The location was fantastic and the host was great. Would highly recommend this home for any visitors to the beautiful city of Porto.

A stunning apartment with a magical view of Porto and the ocean. Clean and spacious. There’s internet and streaming services on the TV for the child. Within a 10–30 minute walk in either direction along the beach, there are places with delicious food. There is some construction nearby, but the apartment itself is relatively quiet. There were a couple of minor issues, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. We’d gladly come back if we have the chance.

The apartment corresponds 100% to the description, is very clean, spacious and it lacks nothing. The location is great, in the middle of the colorful fishermen's cottages, including free parking in front of the door. A great accommodation that we would like to warmly recommend. Perfect pitstop between bigger cities with a beautiful beach and great food and entertainment. We really enjoyed our stay!

A nice apartment right on the water with decent views of the river. It is a short walk to a number of nice local restaurants, and we really appreciated that it was handicap and wheelchair accessible, including an elevator in the building. The only small critique I have is that there was some difficulty getting in the building, both the lockbox code and key inside the lock box were wrong. However, the response time was great, and within 10 minutes Diogo had come to let us in, provided the right key, and even showed us around. Very responsive and friendly service and thoughtful people. I would recommend people stay here, especially if they would like to have more of an apartment field and be able to cook a simple breakfast or something similar for themselves.

The location is overlooking the river Douro and Porto, so the views are amazing. The metro was also very close by, as was the bridge crossing by foot, so we were able to get around very easily. The house itself was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washing machine.

This is an exceptional Airbnb. Fernando is a welcoming host and an interesting man to talk to. The house is spacious, generous and peaceful. It is also beautiful, with character, and perfect spots for every season. The sitting room must be lovely in winter. The walks in the nature reserve were lovely! You won’t want to leave.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. Very kind owner. Located in rural area, on the edge of Ria Aveiro. Pleasant pedestrian and cycling trail 2 steps away. On the shoreline of the lagoon. The city of Aveiro and the ocean beaches 15 minutes' drive away. Really great house.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

This is the second time we visit this paradise! it's so beautiful there, the lake in front of the house, the forest behind the house. So much peace there. If you need some time to relax or enjoy peaceful moments with your family or friends, this is the place for you!
