Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mirror Lake

Had a nice 3 day weekend at the yurt with my girlfriend and dog. The yurt was nice and cozy. The skylight at the top was nice for looking at the sky at night. We cooked every meal there and found the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. The flow of the brook provides nice background noise for outdoor fires. Had a great time and it was a good basecamp for lots of activities in the area.

Chad was great with communication! The house was lovely and exactly what we needed for the long weekend!

I went for a winter trip with my family. The place is really well located. Extremely clean. Had all the amenities that I needed.

This was an excellent place to stay on Lake Champlain. The house was kid friendly, which was perfect for our three young kids. They felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the peaceful, quiet beach. We hope to come back again next summer!!

Greg’s home is spacious yet cozy, a true home away from home. Gorgeous kitchen and living areas, comfy bedrooms, and lovely property, and just minutes away from beautiful Mirror Lake and the town - our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Greg was immediately responsive, kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back, thank you Greg!

Wonderful stay! We enjoyed doing puzzles and exploring the nearby waterfall and lakes. The space was perfect, and we appreciated the opportunity to relax here.

It was a true joy to wake up each morning in such a beautiful place, feeling both relaxed and inspired by the surroundings. Great location. Short walk to the Main Street. House was clean.

Wes place was immaculate, well heated, and centrally located. He went above and beyond stocking his home with amenities, such as sheets, toilet paper, etc., items that some places do not provide. Wes even put down salt on the stairs on days that it snowed. We will definitely return!!

I have nothing bad to say about Devons place. Everything looks like the pictures. I highly recommend it if you are going upstate and wanna stay in a quiet and peaceful area Saranac lake is the place! Many places around to explore.

Taylor & Drew were fantastic host. They were responsive with the few questions we had. The place was perfect for our group. All of the beds were VERY comfortable and we all felt very much at home. It was also very clean upon our arrival. We will definitely be looking to book their property again in the future.

We loved our stay at Cary’s place! It was so peaceful in the woods yet so close to town and all of the activities. Cary was very helpful especially with the amount of snow we got! We would definitely return!

It was a little noisy at night from traffic, but we read reviews and prepared with a Bluetooth speaker to drown out the noise. That was the only drawback, which was offset by proximity to lake placid and the ADK LOJ. Everything else was perfect. Great place to make a comfortable base camp for ADK adventures.

This is our second stay@Ellie’s Garden View Apt. As always it was fantastic. It is like a home away from home for us. It is peaceful and quiet and yet a five minute walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. Steve is an excellent host and is very helpful with anything that you need. His recommendations on restaurants, and things to do are very helpful to first time visitors. Take the word of a resident they know where the hot spots are. We will definitely will be staying with Steve again. Thank you Mike&Eileen .

Lana was a great host and showed us around the place when we checked in. She let us check in sooner than planned which was great after a long travel day. The place was quiet, serene and comfortable. The showers were "amazing". My husband is over 6ft tall, so it's hard to find showers he can fit in comfortably. The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect. I'm not a fan of leather and that's all there was to sit on on the living room but I completely get why that's what is used, especially in an Airbnb with spills and germs for cleaning purposes. I just used a blanket to sit on, problem solved. She is doing some renovations and explained the new amenities coming soon. I would definitely recommend. Many thanks for a great experience.

This was a great stay in a nice location just off the main street of Lake Placid!

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kathy's! The place was very clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and all linens were fresh. The location was very convenient to all that Lake Placid has to offer but also removed just enough to have some quiet time away from the bustle of all the shops. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Placid in the future. I highly recommend!

This spot was so much bigger than we expected! It had everything we needed and it was soooo cozy! The walk to Lisa G’s was so short - it was amazing. The basement was awesome since we had kids and they had their own area to hang and everything was so quiet - we couldn’t hear each other or them through the walls or on different floors. It was very comfy, large, and the location was perfect!

Great experience, loved cross country skiing so conveniently located out the door.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

My husband and I had a lovely stay and the host RJ made sure all our needs were met. We would love to come back in the summer and see some more of Lake Placid from RJ’s little piece of heaven.
