“Camp Rockwood”at Rockwood Motor Court on Route 66

Rockwood Motor Court, on historic Route 66, was built in 1929. Each room is themed and furnished to the era of Route 66. Camp Rockwood pays homage to the important history of motor courts along the road. It is decorated with historic photos of Rockwood and other courts and motels. Newly renovated in 2019, you’ll enjoy clean and comfortable room amenities while experiencing authentic motor court lodging. Need more space? The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.
