Beautiful apartment in a very peaceful setting. Surprisingly spacious and we were very grateful for the little touches of wine, croissants and toiletries. The hosts were so helpful with recommendations and swift with replies. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was just gorgeous. Thank you so much! Couldn’t recommend this stay more.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Janet’s lovely and serene place with its beautiful English garden. Janet is one of the best hosts we have met. She made us feel welcome when we met her (and her husband, Nigel). If you are looking for a wonderful place in the English countryside, look no further. We highly recommend Janet’s place.

Superb and extremely clean accommodation, in a lovely quiet location. Everything you need for a short, medium or long stay. Gillian was an excellent, responsive host who kept us updated before and all through our break. If you are wanting to stay around the Constable or Colchester area. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay in Wherry Cottage. Stuart has thought of everything and it's a very comfortable, practical and stylish little house. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view of the estuary in the morning was lovely. We particularly enjoyed the very generous welcome pack and great local recommendations from Stuart. Manningtree is charming and we found it very easy to do a lot without needing a car, including walking to the beautiful nature reserves around Wrabness and getting the train back to Mistley, and walking to Dedham and back along the river via Flatford. Highly recommend!
