Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Mittelland District

The stay, as it were in my closer home, was excellent in all respects! I was already welcomed at the train station by the very helpful hostess Chantal, who moved my heavy suitcase to the lovingly furnished accommodation, where I immediately felt comfortable, which then manifested itself every night in an excellent sleep. With cooking in the richly equipped kitchen, exciting conversations, together with her partner Marc, and excursions in the charming surroundings, the week passed in flight. I highly recommend staying with Chantal and Marc to anyone looking for tranquility in stylish simplicity, a beautiful area and warm-hearted hosts !

This place is truly wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Very clean with modern amenities where needed. Beautiful decorations of historic pieces and local furnishings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Appenzell and short drive to St.Gallen. The host is also great to work with. She is very kind, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

Beautiful location even without leaving the house, just looking through windows or on balcony. But otherwise within 30 mins driving anywhere you go it's a pleasure, particularly if you like hiking. House is very comfortable and quiet, we particularly were impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - even if we did not have food with us on arrival we would not be hungry 😀. So far I'd say our favorite area in whole Switzerland and great location. All kinds of local information is provided by hosts, including maps - very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. When we come back to Switzerland this is the area we would like to come back to most and explore further and this is the house we would consider renting first, if available. Host was also very responsive, which always is appreciated.

I had a great weekend in Trogen. Cozy room & the house is very idyllic and quiet, surrounded by greenery. You have a beautiful view of Lake Constance. Also ideal for excursions. I have done some hiking and biking tours in the area. Everything was easy to reach with public transport. In the evening, I was able to use the yurt, which is in the garden, as a quiet retreat - simply awesome! Florian and his family, who live in the upper part of the house, are great hosts. Very warm and uncomplicated. For breakfast, there was even homemade braid. It is a great accommodation, highly recommended. I will definitely come back - THANK YOU.

A beautiful home set in magical scenery. Katharina & Markus were warm, welcoming and accommodating hosts. Apartment was well equipped & clean. Highlights were the hike from Hoher Kasten to Saxer Lücke and from the apartment to Kaienspitz (summit 1122m) on to Fünfländerblick and ending in Rorschach. All in all a fabulous trip for a joint son’s 30th birthday and Father’s Day treat.

Roger’s place is an absolute hidden gem! The place was impeccably clean and had everything I needed, and more. It’s located in a peaceful and beautiful area at a relatively higher altitude, offering amazing views from all sides. The sunsets every night were especially dreamy. We felt lucky to have found this place and definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the beauty of Appenzell. Thanks, Roger!

A very comfortable accommodation with great views. The kitchen was well equipped, so you could easily cook for yourself. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Marlon's apartment in St. Gallen, close to the city center but on a really quiet street. Everything is within walking distance, around the corner there is a good baker. We felt right at home. Although we were on a business trip, we had a great stay and a cozy retreat with Marlon's apartment. The apartment is well equipped, there is everything you need. Highly recommend!

Lea's accommodation is great. In the green countryside, directly overlooking the Apenzellerland to Lake Constance. The apartment is cozily and tastefully furnished. There's nothing missing. Even a small shop is available if you need something. In addition, there are many suggestions as to what you could do and the apartment invites you to linger with games and outdoor spaces.

Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Was at the sporting event in Rapperswil. The accommodation is close to the train station, where you can go in all directions. Optimal. The accommodation is very quiet. Everything was fine. Thank you, Jana and many nice guests.

Very welcoming family! The accommodation was Superb, a very nice decoration everything was extremely clean when I arrived and for my trips as I slept during the day I couldn't find better than that! Very peaceful! In short, it was a great stay! Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!
