The area has nice hiking opportunities and is close to the outdoor swimming pool "Bader'n" (open June 19 - August 16). A great alternative to hotels with better space, in beautiful surroundings and with Gjøvik's best view of Mjøsa. There is also the possibility of free electric car charging on site. Wifi, workplace, smart TV, well-equipped kitchen, coffee machine and a great and spacious bathroom. Travel bed and high chair for small children are available upon request.

The boys' room at Båkinn farm

We have renovated the old boys' room on the farm, and rent it out for short and longer stays. Pilgrims get an extra discount, contact us directly by texting 97786500. The place is best suited for 2 adults, or a family with 2 smaller children. The house is located in the courtyard, but still shielded. There is a short walking distance to Mjøsa, you can stroll down in 5 minutes. There you can swim. The Pilgrim's Way goes right past the yard, and there are many other nice hiking opportunities by bike and on foot.

Shopping, restaurants, bar's, parks, supermarkets og close to the tram and bus that will take you to almost every place in Oslo within 5-15 min. Tram (11, 12, 18) and Bus (21, 30) is right outside that takes you to, Aker Brygge/Tjuvholmen, Frogner, Majorstuen, City Center. Airportbus is stopping 1.5min walk from the apartment.

The farm is located about 10 km from the center of Lillehammer(not walking distance)with a great view of southern part of Lillehammer. The apartment is on the top floor of the main house and contains 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining room with sleeping alcove and a large living room where some space can be converted into a sleeping alcove. There are opportunities to make use of the garden and outdoor area. We have 6 chickens and 2 cats.
