As soon as we got to the house, it was a peaceful retreat. Although there are a few homes or farms close, there was little noise or distraction getting those of nature. The house and amenities were what you need for a few days stay and there was even an extra crate for the puppy if we’d forgotten ours. When we had a question the guest night, there was a response within fifteen minutes. And it was proactive as well as positive. The whole experience had been lovely.

Bernadette's place is a fantastic getaway - very peaceful. The place is exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed the use of Bernadett 's kayak and paddle board (as well as walking ans running in her neighborhood and visiting Bethel Beach). I'd love to come back another time!

My boyfriend and I really loved our stay here! The place is exactly as described and matches the pictures, it was very cozy for us to hang out at between sightseeing. The backyard area is great, private enough to be secluded from neighbors which was nice. The host, Shannon, sent a very helpful message at the beginning letting us know the check in/out process, things to do nearby, etc which was really appreciated! We ended up going to VA beach, some museums, all which were within about an hour and 15 by car which worked well for us. Overall really loved the stay, so much nicer than an overexpensive hotel and sharing walls with strangers. This place helped make our vacation really perfect! Would highly recommend!
