Holiday houses in Modi

Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay at Estia Stonehouse. There are nearby tracks/paths to hike on and see some beautiful places. Stelios was a great host who provided everything you'd need for a self catering holiday. The apartment was immaculate. The apartment was surprisingly large! The upstairs bed has a very low ceiling and small stairs, so be aware of this, but the bed itself was very comfortable when you got up there. You do require a car to stay at this apartment and the parking space is not very big, but the main town and beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The village of Modi is quiet and pretty with a delightful and reasonably priced Tavern that you can walk to for dinner. Overall we would absolutely recommend Stelios's Estia Stonehouse as a place to stay in Crete 😊.

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

Beautiful, peaceful villa but not far from the main road to access amenities, local restaurants and Chania. Spotlessly clean. Good quality bedding and towels with super comfy beds. Friendly support and communication from the company. We appreciated the home grown oranges and olive oil which were delicious! We were also grateful for the early check-in. Nice pool and bbq/rooftop terrace had lovely views. WiFi was great as was access to a good quality washing machine and separate drier. Would definitely recommend.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Das Haus liegt inmitten eines Olivenhain und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Sally war sehr auf unsere Privatsphäre bedacht. Wir kommen wieder. Wer die Ruhe mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Es ist alles vorhanden. Sally ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. :)

Esperienza magnifica sotto tutti i punti di vista! L'appartamento è molto grande, super funzionale, ben arredato e completo di due meravigliose terrazze di cui una in particolare è fantastica per farci colazione. La vista è magnifica. Le camere da letto sono tutte spaziose e dotate di aria condizionata. I bagni sono super funzionali. Il paesino è piccolo e poco turistico, circondato da campagna magnifica e a venti metri dall'alloggio c'è una trattoria dove si mangia benissimo e con proprietario simpaticissimo! I genitori di Borislav sono stati gentilissimi, ci hanno offerto dei dolcetti e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa fin dal primo momento. In sintesi, un'esperienza fantastica che consigliamo vivamente.

Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful scenes. Friendly hosts and flexible check in and out timings. They provided essentials for our first day, nice home made cake and a bottle of extra virgin olive oil. Prompt response to our requests. The villa is really amazing and made our holiday this summer one of our best ever holidays. Will come back soon.

Unser zweiter Aufenthalt in dieser geräumigen Wohnung. Kühlschrank übervoll mit Obst, Wasser etc. Auch fürs Frühstück hätten wir eigentlich für den ganzen Aufenthalt nichts kaufen müssen. Der Vater der Gastgeberin hat uns noch zusätzlich mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt - natürlich kostenlos. Außerdem hat er uns an einem Tag darauf aufmerksam gemacht, das die Gemeinde die Straßenränder mäht, so dass wir das Auto vor Steinschlag ein Sicherheit bringen konnten, kleiner Mangel im Bad wurde umgehend von ihm behoben. Einzig der abgebildete Fernseher wurde durch ein anderes Modell von Sony ersetzt.
