This Appenzell house, which is around 200 years old and was modernized in 2023/24, stands high above Herisau and is affectionately called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. Authentically, it shines in a fantastic mountain and hill setting – a true retreat for the soul.

It is quietly located and you can relax well in the garden, by the tiled stove or fireplace. It has free Wi-Fi and is also suitable for home office. The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (box spring bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the heating fireplace. Cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, there is also a dormitory available in the barn, for example for families. A kitchen is available about 20 meters from the cottage. On request, we can provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance, as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.
